Entire Series Review:
The Clone Wars as an entire series feels weird to rate or review because the show evolved and changed as it went on. The first seasons were very kid-friendly and provided some entertainment but beyond that I didn't love them. The middle seasons turned things up a notch and it got pretty great with its storytelling and character work. And the final season was a mixed bag but the final four episodes were perfection in my eyes. Each season seemed to have arcs that were really great and some arcs that just fell flat or weren't very engaging, so overall the show feels like a mixed bag. But when you look at the character arcs for the biggest characters across the entire series, the storytelling was phenomenal. Anakin and Ahsoka are amazing characters in this show and their relationship even more amazing. Emotional moments in the final season hit so much harder having spent all this time with the characters, and that includes the clones. Because we got time to spend with them and they were treated like actual characters, people like Rex and Fives had some of the best emotional scenes I've seen in Star Wars, and Order 66 hits harder than ever. The use of characters like Maul, Obi-Wan, the Chancellor, and more were executed very well throughout the entire series as well. Taking it all together, the series shows us different corners of the galaxy, expands on the lore, introduces us to new enjoyable characters, and strengthens characters we already know. It may be a mixed bag, but it's now one of my favorite pieces of media to come out of the franchise.

7.0/10 -- Good
