Maybe the choice of words was a bit harsh - let´s just say I don´t think it´s a memorable episode. It wasn´t my intention to downplay Leflers part. I would have liked for here to become a more recurring character - I actually really like her in the New Frontier book series.
As for Wes - I think hate is a strong word, it´s more a dislike. I wasn´t much older than the character itself when I first saw the show but he never apealed to me. Which isn´t Wheaton´s fault, it was the writing at times. I always saw Wes as the eager puppy. He became more mature later on but by then the damage was done.
I know you can´t expect every episode to have a deep story with huge moral implications but episodes like "The Game" always left me wondering if there really wasn´t a better script available. But it´s all a matter of perspective and with a rating of 77% it´s obvious a lot of people liked it.

Another Wesley-Crusher-to-the-rescue episode. yawn They tried to cover that fact a bit by adding Lefler. But even beside that the whole plot is to obvious. Stupid episode.
