I'm very sad to say I found this episode very thin and disappointing, especially as it was the season opener. They ended last season in such a high, with one of the best musical numbers they have done. I found the songs in this episode to be quite weak and uninspired. Here's hoping this isn't an indication of this season. There are so many things I love about this show that if that was their strong opener I'm going to wish it ended last season. Here's hoping the next episode lands better for me.
