Cruella 2021

Good performances, quite decent plot but a bit cliched I must say. Adult revenge tones but a children's movie at heart. Solid 6.5/10

Poetic. the transition of the character from estella to cruella was good; the visuals were splendid and joyful for the heart the costumes were like they were shaped and designed from another dimension.

Sublime performance by Emma and Emma. Wasn’t to exited by the male support actors. Some parts felt a bit rushed. Still, story wise this was solid, with pretty good plot twists. 8/10

Great direction. Great soundtrack. Great PW Hauser and great Emma Stone. Really well made.

This was unexpectedly good. Cruella's backstory works. It makes sense and she's actually a lot less evil here than in the animated versions of her (if I remember the old movies correctly).

The BEST part of the movie is the little doggie Wink. :smiling_face_with_3_hearts: He is too cute.

What the devil?? Didn’t expect to like this at all as its a Disney live action movie.

Way better than what I anticipated. Does a pretty good job of humanising the famous villainess while maintaining a well paced, entertaining revnege story. Emma Stone is brilliant as usual. Pretty sure there will be a rewrite of 101 Dalamatians.

This was better than I anticipated. I wasn’t expecting a “wow” factor, and there wasn’t one. But the storyline itself was good and made sense. There were slight referrals to the source movie that were definitely interesting and only those who really know that movie would catch them. Really well done! Well played! I am anxious to watch it again and see what else o can catch it references.

Best movie ever!! I love it

Just got done watching cruella with my family. To my surprise it was unexpectedly good. I expected a family friendly rehash of Joker. In some ways it is but in more ways then not it's completely it's own thing.

The soundtrack is excellent not what I was expecting from a disney movie like this at all. As someone who doesn't really care that much about the character of cruella de vil they really make you feel for her character. Emma Stone nails the role.

This is Emma Stone’s best performance.

Emma Stone is a great Cruella, her character, her voice and her sympathy give the character a worthy representation that continues the legacy of Glenn Close. The musical selection seemed great to me with those pop-rock themes that wonderfully weave the atmosphere of the world of fashion. The story is attractive, knowing the origin of the evil of the villain, but it begins to get tired. Not all villains have to have a history of crisis that makes them bad and then turns out that they are not so bad, I say. Now the bad: the CGI. I had a hard time putting up with the fake dogs that are as protagonists as the rest of the actors, and noticing the CGI in each scene was annoying. And that added to the terrible effect of the sea in one of the final scenes only helped to think that that area was not so well used in the film.

This movie makes you love Cruella so much

Apart from the few ropey CGI dog replacements and the draggy bit 3/4s of the way through, it's good.

they did well splashing decent music into little segments- complete opposite of how bad it was done in 'suicidesquad'

Very good though a tad long , AWSOME soundtrack
