I already liked Ricky, more so now. He's right on so many things especially about social media. Some great jokes had me really laughing hard.
Only thing I wondered: was there a real audience around? Oftentime it sounded like a sitcom laughing track.
After having seen so many of his series, it was refreshing to see him being funny. This was great.
But I'll make sure I never tweet him.
I have never seen any of his other stand-up shows or even interviews, probably because even though I like the guy, his character in The Office was unbearably annoying (yes, I know it was on purpose), so I was never able to get into that show or into his kind of humour, in general. Regardless, someone recommended me this particular stand-up show of his and I found it hilarious, to the point of having tears in my eyes at times due to so much laughter! Not only that, but it was also filled with spot on criticism on current society and its uncontrolled obsession with the politically correct and the deranged self-righteousness derived from it.
It was good, but not as funny as his other specials. I had to subtract 1 from my rating because a lot of the material is recycled, so I had heard it before, which is a real shame.
Great, but... it would be better if he didn't recycle his jokes so often (he has repeated several jokes on Jimmy Fallon's show, The View, etc.).
His bathtub memes are funnier

I've never watched Gervais in a standup situation before. This is hilarious - laughing out loud from start to finish. 10/10
