In Concert in Belfast
For Stiff Little Fingers it was a 'home game'. Back to Belfast to play in front of the fans who had supported them from their early punk days in 1978. U2 are from Dublin. A polished and sophisticated rock band whose live performances are already becoming legendary within the music world.
Tonight's gig, recorded at Queen's University in Belfast, combines the sounds of SLF and U2 with the energy of an enthusiastic Irish crowd.
Two stars of folk/rock music, Richard and Linda Thompson, sing songs about the night - songs romantic, ecstatic, sinister, compassionate and rousing. with musicians John Kirkpatrick, Dave Mattacks, Simon Nicol, Pete Zorn
