There's so much you can learn from Burn Notice and that doesn't begin to describe the breadth of this show: light comic moments, tension, and Michael's retreated professional demeanor contrasted with his funny impersonations, Fi's trigger happy persona, Sam's eagerness for women and drinks. But Michael's mom and Jesse are by far the highlight of the show for me :)
It all culminated in a heart-warming finale that gave us closure and respect as fans of the show, something other series sometimes fail to do. An easy watch, a fun watch, an addictive watch.
This will always be my all-time favorite show. Just everything about it. I have to explain to people that The Walking Dead is my current favorite show but the all-time award goes to Burn Notice.
just boring, no more to say
A fun action spy show with a lot of great guest stars that got huge help from it's supporting cast, especially Bruce Campbell and Sharon Gless. It really tried to have some intelligence in it's action and had often good explosions and car crashes. Sadly it also had way too many filler episodes and the "MacGyver" quality where our heroes seem to get themselves out of every danger by making a weapon from things they found on their way didn't help. It's light touch disappeared during it's final seasons when it got pretty dark, but my big question is this... What happened to Gabrielle Anwar's lips and face? She was so cute in 1992.
I like this show so much that I watched the entire series about 3 or 4 times. I do find Fiona annoying as hell and wished they killed off her character, but for the most part, Burn Notice is a good show to binge.
@chronic Hopefully the Pilot isn't representative of the entire series - I'm not enjoying it too much. He tries to be too funny and not succeeding in my opinion. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
good show..kind of modern time macgyver
I think the final season was weak. The plot was constructed just to fit some needs. It had strong moments but they should not have started another arc.
Nevertheless I really liked this show. Has a bit of everything, Action, drama, lovestory, fun.
It's a bit like Thomas Magnum, Jack Bauer and a bit of McGyver.
Burn Notice is a long commercial for Hyundai. Michael, the main character, is a flat actor and has been written to be incredibly arrogant and annoying. Character motivations are inconsistent. Madeline is an unneeded character that has a place only to allow space for more drama. Anyway, it's still slightly exciting. Colors and framing are good.
I can't believe they're in season 7 already
Terrific show!
finished S6 cant wait for the S7!
Love this show. Need to catch up on the last 7 episodes though. =)
one of the best shows on circuit currently!
Love it!
s6e1 airs 6/14! awesome!
It took me quite a lot of time to get through season 1 & 2 because I didn't really enjoy it that much. But watching Season 3 now and have to say the the show really improves. Lets be honest the underlying story for each season plays very little part in each episode so it just ticks over at an annoyingle slow and forgettable rate but the weekly stories are getting better all the time.
The last ep of season 4 was AWESOME!
