The show has been home to Canada's rising comedians, where early-career performances on the show have led to much larger opportunities in various other television series and national comedy tours. Brent Butt, Sean Cullen, Glen Foster, Jessica Holmes, Elvira Kurt, Shaun Majumder, Alan Park, Nikki Payne, Ron Sparks, Winston Spear, Russell Peters, Harland Williams, Fraser Young, and countless other comedians got their big breaks through Comedy Now!. John is a writer and comedian, attended McGill University, and has been nominated 3 times for a comedy Gemini Award.

Hailing from Glace Bay, Cape Breton and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Ron has had a very successful run in Canadian comedy. He studied improv at Second City in Toronto and was hired by the national touring company, promoted to main stage, and then shot to fame. Ron created his own show, "Blackfly" and enlisted many Canadians to star in the series. He continues to pursue comedy, writing, acting, and performing. (Special 90 Minute Episode)

Brent has won the hearts of millions of Canadians. From Saskatchewan, he was been in stand-up for decades as well as now appearing on television, writing, producing and starring in Corner Gas. He has a production company called Prairie Pants.

English-born and Jamaican bred Ronnie brings tons of laughter to the stage whenever he performs. He has worked with such notable comedians like Jim Carey and Chris Rock and performed countless shows in Canada and the U.S.

Kedar is a comedy king, touring all across North America.

Mark started out at Yuk Yuk's in Halifax, Nova Scotia, then moved to Toronto in 1989. He was one of the founders of the alternative comedy scene. He also wrote for This Hour Has 22 Minutes and was the supervising producer for Corner Gas.

Mike Bullard has been largely successful with stand-up and on television.

Lawrence has been doing comedy for 20 years and originally started at Yuk Yuk's in Toronto. He has appeared in countless festivals, wrote for David Schwimmer and Richard Lewis, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Saturday Night Live.

The comedy troupe Skippys Rangers performs tonight on Comedy Now!.
