Much of the 2014 Commonwealth Games will take place in Dalmarnock in Glasgow's East End. Dalmarnock's beating heart is its community centre. But the council's plans reveal there's no planned replacement for it once it's knocked down to make way for a temporary bus terminal. The centre's manager Yvonne is not about to take this lying down. Soon she scales up her ambitions, determined to secure a stake of games legacy for her local community. In the meantime Steven's work comes to an end on the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome and he faces an uncertain future, while Margaret's tenement block is demolished, with no compensation in sight. And local entrepreneur Darren faces a devastating blow when his brother, Brian, who's spent a most of his adulthood behind bars, is brutally murdered.
