Sami asks Rafe why he disappeared on Christmas. Abigail listens as Jennifer and Daniel are finally going out. Daniel sees that today is the second anniversary of Parker's baptism and the night he found out he wasn't his. Rafe tells Sami that he doesn't want to play any more games with each other. Eric tells Nicole he can't go out with her cause he has plans volunteering for that night. Hope tells Jennifer she knows that it can work with Daniel and could be something magical. Jennifer overhears Daniel and Maggie talking thinking he is having second thoughts about their date. E.J. tells Chad that Melanie won't be coming back and wants him to be happy and encourages him to persuade Abigail. Daniel gets a text from Jennifer saying she isn't feeling well and cancels their date. Sami agrees to spend New Year's Eve with E.J. Rafe tells Nicole he would love to go the town square with her to ring in 2013.
