Eric thanks Daniel for working on New Year's Eve when there's another place he can be at right now. Brady sees that Marlena isn't all that surprised when telling her about Kristen. Sami sees that Rafe has brought Nicole to the town square. Chad and Abigail grow closer while joining her in a game of monopoly. John threatens Kristen to keep herself away from Brady, not before hotel security knocks on her door. Nicole pretends to be drunk to detain E.J. John and Marlena go off to find Brady after telling that Kristen confessed everything to him. Jennifer and Daniel have a romantic moment. Rafe and Sami end up sharing a kiss at midnight.
