Brett arrives at Mill Cottage and Val asks Lesley to play along with their plan. Rodney returns home and is surprised to see his house full of people. Quickly catching on, he decides to make Val and Eric suffer slightly, telling Brett details of a few made-up deals which may convince him to hire them. Simon goes to drown his sorrows in The Woolpack after seeing his accountant. Rodney threatens to tell Nicola the truth if Simon doesn’t. Also, Max tells Tom his guilty feelings about patching Jimmy up after being attacked by Daz and lying to Paddy. As they start to argue, Tom lets out a secret that he's been paying half of Max's wages at the vet's.
