Elsewhere, despite Lesley trying to stop her, Nicola goes furniture shopping. Lesley and Simon have a chat with Matthew who has some bad news for them. He doesn’t want to invest in their kind of business. Meanwhile, just when Val thinks she's got away with hiring Delilah behind Eric’s back, he unexpectedly turns up at work forcing Delilah to hide. Eric invites Val for dinner resulting in Delilah being locked in the factory for the night.
