Welp, like Tryion said, We're fucked. Living vs. The Dead. Season 8 A fight that only comes once.
The dragon pit scene was awesome. Getting so many characters all in one place at the same time was great to see. So many quick “oh, hey you’re still alive” moments. One of the best was Brienne and the Hound. Speaking of the Hound, we did not get the Cleganebowl we have been wanting for so long but at least he was able to tell his brother off. Maybe next season…
Cersei, as the hound would say, is a real cunt. She truly is the biggest villain this show has seen. She is lying to everyone about sending her armies north and bringing in more mercenaries to help fight while Dany is a little occupied. She not only threatened to kill not one of her brothers but both of them is the same episode. Jamie is finally getting smart and getting away from her, even if he is leaving to go fight an army of undead. I honestly think she might stick around to the end and keep the iron throne. She has no problem doing whatever it takes. She has a kid on the way and that is all she is worried about now (I still don’t think she will have the child because of the prophecy said she would only have three). Oh and the shot of snow falling on King's Landing was a beautiful reminder that winter is here.
The winterfell storyline finally did something amazing. Sansa’s “trial” of Littlefinger was a long time coming and with Bran there was no denying. I’m so glad Arya got to kill him with his own dagger. The sisters finally started acting like family.
Nice to see Theon having another chance at redemption. He had a nice moment with Jon about their dad, well technically Ned was neither of their father. I hope he gets to save Yara next season. I wonder where she is if Euron is going to Essos or could she already be dead?
The show finally says what all the fans have know for years, Jon is a true Targaryen and the rightful heir to the Iron Throne. And they say it just as the two have sex for the first time, nothing new for this show. I’m sure this won’t be a problem. Dany will be cool with it, right? I mean the old Targaryens were into incest too. Maybe not we'll just have to wait and find out.
That last scene really was a little frightening, to see something that has been keeping the white walkers out for 8000 years to just go down like that. Now that the Night King has a dragon they are really going to cause some havoc. RIP Tormund and Beric? I don't think there were able to get off the wall in time but were they on the part still standing?
Great season, moved a little too fast and missed some of the slower character moments from old season. They definitely had some of the largest battle scenes TV has ever seen and I’m sure we are not done yet. Let the wait for season 8 begin…
What do both The Wall and Jon Snow have in common?
They both got "blown" away at the end ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Tormund better be alive. I haven't been shipping him and Brienne for nothing...
Littlefinger's death alone made me give 10 to this episode. A M A Z I N G! I really did not see that coming from Sansa, she has my respect. The truth about Jon was finally spoken, and he is actually Aegon Targaryen... I thought that only the last name was different. Cersei really is a bitch. Geez, not even Jaime can stand her after all. Theon finally did something good. Dany and Jon having sex, we all did see that coming. And at this point of the show, we are not surprised with incest anymore, right? THE NIGHT KING RIDING VISERION AND DESTROYING THE WALL!!!! HOLY SHIT! If the next season only comes in 2019, i really don't know what to do next year. Please HBO, don't do that to us!!!
It is actually interesting that Viserion, who is named after Dany's evil brother, became the evil dragon that will again torment Dany. Dany will ride Drogon and Jon on Rhaegon who was named after his father. Good pairing up :-)
[7.2/10] Definitely some good stuff here. An interesting theme of family being important. One the one hand, the fakeout among the Starks (at least Arya and Sansa) is that they're at odds, but it turns out that it's only a ruse and despite their differences they're still sticking together and care for one another. On the other, there's the Lannisters, where Cersei feigns having a change of heart thanks to Tyrion, and leaves Jaime in the dark when it comes to her ruse, showing that despite pretending to the contrary, they're not on the same page and it tears them apart. To boot, you have Theon finding the road to recovery from receiving absolution from his brother Jon, and resolving to rescue his sister Yara, making sense of his shared Stark and Greyjoy heritage. And Jon is revealed (in a stolid infodump) to have shared heritage as well, being half-Stark and half-Targaryan, whcih is underwhelming considering we pretty well already knew that, and makes the love scene between Jon and Aunt Dany pretty awkward. (Though again, it's pretty mild by this show's standard for incest).
While getting pretty much all the major players in one place has a certain thrill, watching Littlefinger get his comeuppance after causing so much trouble should be satisfying, and watching an undead dragon take down the wall works well enough as spectacle, somehow this episode was still underwhelming as a season finale. It's hard to put a finger on why, but something just felt a little off or perfunctory about it all. Still, some great one-on-one moments and interesting thematic material to make it solid if not quite spectacular as a capstone to the show's penultimate season.
Even though all of us knew Jon's true identity I still got goosebumps from that revelation scene ahh
Uhmmm.... the standoff between Dany and Cersei and John had a very simple solution!!!! Dany could have released John of his duty and tell everyone she is ok not having him fight with her vs Cersei after the Great war... that was such an obvious solution!!!!
the script is horrible but with good moments the rest is pure fanfiction
the scene with little finger was so satisfying.
Oh SHIT.....WTF..they have no chance...how??!
Great season finale, im lucky that im just now watching this and season 8 is out... cuz i could've not waited a whole year.
But what a great episode, jon snow is actually aegon targaryen.....littlefinger is finally dead, that scene was one of the most satisfying to happen in this series. And thats why i love arya. This is truly amazing.
The scene between Tyrion and Cersei was easily the best scene of the season.
This was easily one of the best finales of the entire series! Cant wait for season 8!
A little bit of a sensationalist episode. Some things seem not too realistic, like Greyjoy convincing his tribe to save Yara, and this little game between Sansa and Littlefinger, that leads to the latter's death, is kind of pathetic. But the tension is good. Sensationalist but good. Then the meeting between Cersei and Daenerys, and proves how such a fool Jon Snow is. Many people meet again, people that were enemies before. In the end, Jon fucks Daenerys, despite him being a Targaryan, as Bran Stark figures out. Cersei is pregnant. So many things are found out, and that makes a good episode. Some things are unrealistic, I repeat, but there is a lot of tension like this episode seems to be the breaking point in the great war of Westeros. Finally, the Wall in the North is destroyed, leaving us in awe, leaving asking ourselves what will happen next. We are all looking forward to season 8.
Second favourite episode on GOT so far.
The amount of deaths and plot twists in this episode is unreal...
Not to mention...
One of the most impressive tv show i love GOT ❤️
One of the most impressive tv show i love GOT ❤️
Mighty and real and the best serie
Can't I rate it more than 10?

Amazing finale! The season felt a bit rushed, but I think it’s the best one yet. I hope we don’t have too wait too long for the next.
Pros
+Great Conclusion to Littlefinger, Sansa, and Arya storyline
+Most of the diplomacy stuff was good, particularly liked the parts where The Hound saw Brienne and The Mountain Cersei and Euron's dupe was unusually clever for this show
+Jaime finally making the right decision
+Wall being brought down by the Night's King with his brand new dragon
Netural
*Can't stop the Targs from fucking their own family lol The Samwell/Bran part was fine and the sex scene was a sex scene so it was what it was.
Cons
-Theon part was dumb as hell
-They are honestly pushing this Lyanna/Rhaegar love story despite the fact she was kept in a tower for years, wrote no letters to anyone, he allowed her brother/father to die for no reason, etc. etc. etc. It doesn't make sense that she wasn't kidnapped because of Rhaegar's delusions.
That was... So stupid. Who wrote this? A child? Sorry hbo you are killing GOT
I really hope this episode doesn't get leaked.
We all knew the R+L=J, but I still got the goosebumps at that scene! And the ending was both terrifying and beautiful at the same time! Amazing episode!
Holy sweet mother of nature, boy was that an episode!!
That was intense.
That final scene! Im Speechless.
Also: CALLED IT, I DID COMMENT FEW EPISODES BACK THAT LITTLEFINGER WAS PROBABLY GONNA DIE. FOH
bah, everything that got always did well, being non forgiving for stupid actions, has been put here to do exactly what every other clichè has always done. I am sorely disappointed with this episode
F*ck me that was awesome!
Holy fucking SHIT!!!
They fanilly did it. They destroyed the great wall.
OMG!!! Fucking Cersi you going to died alone.
Jon... Khaleesi... OMG!!!
Sansa played with my mind and I totally enjoyed.
Fuck... The Dragon... How is Khaleesi going to react when they reunite...
Can we the new season now???
This is too much pressure....
Amazing episode.
Game of Thrones finales aren't about war, its about good scenes and twists. I loved it.
Will they tied up a bunch of loose ends- and then started what will be the climax of this season. I do hate loose ends so I was glad to see them start to confirm certain things before introducing more strands left to tie.
I really liked the confrontation between the two sides was quite uncertain and I liked how the undead was introduced. Having Tyrion go straight to her was so dreadful and gotta give the man props for going. I think that's what made the next scene when Jaime and Tyrion talk for a second so much better, "I suppose we should say goodbye, one idiot to another." I really don't wanna see either Tyrion or Jaime die. Glad they didn't. That meeting though was so intense. Cersei wanted to kill Tyrion so badly, you could see it in her face. That silence after that so perfectly executed.
The next scene with Sansa and Littlefinger was anti-climatic. However, the dialogue between Theon and Jon was quite interesting. Thinking back to season 1 seems so far ago. And everytime they bring up the good ol episodes it makes me nostalgic.
The confrontation between Sansa and Littlefinger finally coming to a head was great. Seeing him finally grovel before he was killed. Wow. Glad to see him finally gone.
Other than that, I liked the confrontation between Jaime and Cersei. I'm sad that Cersei was just lying. And glad Jamie sees the bigger picture and met my expectations of honoring his pledge to help, calling her bluff in the process. Can't wait to see how that tragedy plays out.
Seeing Sam always makes me cheerful. xD The dialogue between him and Bran was the big reveal also! @.@
Finally seeing the quote from the trailer about the lone wolf and pack was heartwarming as well. I miss Ned Stark too!
That moment at the wall where the white walkers first walk out gave me chills. Seeing the wight for the first time was crazy. Is blowing fire? Or Ice? WTF @.@ Ok well the breach was a lot shorter than expected.........no big battle. Just.. worst possible outcome. xD A bit odd spot to end the season but still was good. As I said, if they didn't tie any loose ends up I would've been frustrated as hell- glad they did so before throwing a shitload of whitewalkers through the wall and ended in a huge cliffhangar. xD
I think we're rioting! This is way better than all LOTR movies combined. Holy f*ck that was awesome!
This was just amazing. RIP The Wall :(
And now my wait begins.
My god wat een goede serie.
When is the next season starting??? Can't believe I've gotten this excited for something that is likely over a year away. That has been the best season so far, my mind is on overdrive thinking of what next.
Satisfying and fulfilling finale. loved it.
Runtime is like 1 hour 20ish, not 55.
I think Danny might be Jon’s queen
Jorah really fell in love with a hoe :skull:
Someone spent too much time on pornhub writing this, can they write anything that’s not incest? At this point I am rooting for the night walkers, at least they aren’t adamantly trying to bring deform children into the world…
Really good. Also, I love that character who died in the first season still lives on through the words of others. Haha, they never stop talking about their father.
Sandor Clegane: "Seems every bad idea has some Lannister cunt behind it."
Tyrion Lannister: "And some Clegane cunt to help them see it through."
The hate over this season is something that I will never be able to understand. And it started only after the last one was released, as I clearly remember how much the seventh was acclaimed throughout the 2017 exhibition.
I love this Season Finale. I really like the meeting scene of Daenerys, Jon and Cersei. The tone of contempt... Too bad they let themselves go and believed that Cersei would really provide the men to fight. They should never take her word for it, after all she has done. And it is amazing how selfish she is, even though she has proof that the army of the dead exists, it's still not enough to make her see beyond. Nothing can fix this woman.
The scenes of Cersei and Tyrion have always been great in the past seasons, and this episode was no different. Peter Dinklage and Lena Headey are impeccable.
In addition, this cliffhanger always makes me shiver to the soul. Undead Viserion, and the fall of the Wall. Now the war has really started.
Why is this season so hated, again?! It's mostly great.
The political negotiations and Tyrion's conversation with Cersei were very emotional, the Stark sisters judgement on Littlefinger as well, it is good they are friendly again and support each other. Jon's real name revealed and Lyanna and Rheagar's wedding shown - how romantic ;) on westerosi scale. And the purpose of the wight dragon became clear as well.
That’s some nice trick they put there.
i can't keep waiting for S08 NEED IT NOW.
I bet Jon got Dany pregnant and she'll give birth to more dragons.
The only parts I liked were the Little Finger bit and Bran finally being useful.
Season finale. Great chapter with many late conversations and unexpected things. It's going to be a loooong wait
Despite the issues I have had towards the this seventh season and two which preceded it, GAME OF THRONES really does know how to end a season well. After so much of the mind-boggling stupidity of the plot in the previous episode, this finale redeems it greatly. There's still issues but a number of scenes that seem to set in motion the eight (and if I understand correctly) and final season. The scene that caps the season is a gorgeously stunning moment. Will the eight season truly rise up to this ending and deliver stakes like never before in the series history?
Could be a 10 if it wasn't for the awkward beginning and the forced romance.
Oh well, let the hangover begin!
Best episode of the season! Many theorys confirmed!
Best highlights are for sure the end of littlefinger, amazing performance of Bran! Cersei is getting madder day by day, and that gives me more believe of the doubts of Jamie and the possibility of him becoming kingslayer again!
Long live to Aegon Targaryen! Finally, the truth! Can't call him Snow anymore! And... incest happens again, this show is just brilliant.
Sad to see how fast the wall came down! A wall so much talked, full of spells and more, should have stand much more longer!
Many questions remain, but this episode opened the roar for the next two seasons really clearly!
The wait game is on! May the lord of life help us to have pattience for the time to wait!
A simple rewiew in a word... Astonished!
Oh Shit, the Wall as fallen and we have to wait until next season to see what happens,... Dam It, you got to love this shlt
Oh well that escalated quickly....
Awesome Sauce, Awesome Sauce, Great
!!!
this is so cool, I love it
It's official, the episode title will be "The Long Night" http://imgur.com/ljqdhIC
