Sure. Somebody is drowning in a pool, and you come to the rescue. What's the first thing you do? Take her out of the damn water so she can breathe? No. Cut the rope between her hands. You know... in case she needs to scratch an itch, or something :zany_face:. Also, where did the knife come from? Do every cop have one, in addition of the gun and the badge? :rolling_eyes:
How can they write decent enough episodes, but then fail so miserably in the little stupid details?
