It's solidly carrying the legacy/feel of shows like Brickleberry, Paradise PD, and Farzar but toned down for network television. I was a little surprised to find myself laughing at several points throughout. I have to believe you don't land Alan Tudyk for something that isn't going to be solid enough to spend some time with. The voice acting in and of itself is strong that any initial disillusionment you might have with the style of the shows I mentioned (of which I have zero) you can still roll with it. Fairly strong pilot especially given the TV landscape.
A deliciously twisted yet somehow, fairly predictable debut. Pretty awesome cast of voice talent, so, I'm willing to give it at least a few episodes to see where it goes.

the comedy is NOT lost on me, more than 95% of the jokes landed (for me) and left me laughing
