This week, Happy Traveler travels to Africa and specifically to Zambia.
In the first part, Eftychis explores the capital Lusaka and sees sights and monuments associated with the country's history. It does not fail to eat in one of the most traditional parts of the city where the locals eat every day.
He then gets in a car and goes to Livingston, in the south of the country and very close to the border with Zimbabwe and Botswana. Livingstone, the tourist capital of Zambia, is visited by a railway museum as well as the traditional village of Mukuni, where locals perform local dances with traditional music and song.
The first part of the trip is completed, facing one of the 7 natural wonders of the world, the iconic Victoria Falls. The waterfalls created by the Zambezi River are located between Zambia and Zimbabwe and are among the largest in the world.
