They finally made it happen, Marisa Coulter is the most reasonable character and my favorite. Thanks Lyra, your efforts to make me reach that breaking point were tremendous.
How did she not die when she was separated from her daemon?
Omg the last scene! Lyra’s pain, Pan’s despair… Really made me cry! I felt it a lot. Leaving your piece behind, your heart, your soul.. Hard to write atm
The "I have to sacrifice everything say sorry to a dead person" plotline is absolutely mindnumbingly stupid.
The ending scene is heartbreaking…I little mad that Lyre choose Pan over Roger =(
God Lyra's obsession with Roger is unhealthy
I love how the episode where a character calls Marisa an "incoherent, emotional woman" is the one where she actually thinks about the bigger picture and uses her manipulation to make actual progress.
Lyra is getting more annoying each episode.
Ruth Wilson is increasingly on fire. Her material this season is getting meatier and she brings it home. Dying at Marisa forcing her way into spying around the Magisterium, then blithely brushing off an inefficient priest's threat:
"If you don’t stop --"
"You’ll do what, exactly?"
"I’ll fetch support."
"Good, we all need support." lmao

That's....not how the Mulefa should be. Wtf? I've been looking forward to seeing these unique creatures on screen and they've just done away with the seed pods entirely? It's such an important part of Mary's plot though!
ETA - I've said it before and I'll say it again. Ruth Wilson as Mrs Coulter is one the all time best casting decisions ever made.
