Jordan steals Mike's opportunity to direct an anti-depressant pill commercial, and Mike enlists Ryan's help to sabotage the commercial, but it leads to Mike starring in it and Ryan being the cameraman.
While searching for ice cream, Jordan runs into Hot Girl (from season one, episode nine 'Hot Girl') and her boyfriend, Ben. Ben takes offense in Jordan calling her Hot Girl, and challenges him to a fight. Mike helps Jordan prepare for this fight.
Mike writes a play, and while practicing for it, he, Jordan and Ryan get trapped in Mike's garage. Shocking secrets are revealed that could change the course of the show's future.
After Mike forgets Jordan's birthday, he gives Jordan a junk bike to make up for it. This proves to be a problem when neither of them know how to ride it.
When Jordan's twin brother Gordon shows up abruptly, the two bond, but Mike believes Gordon is bringing bad things into Jordan's life. Gordon and Mike propose an ultimatum that Jordan must choose between the two of them.
Jordan discovers Mike shaving, and is upset that Mike has gone through puberty and he hasn't. Jordan tries to speed along the puberty process, giving Mike a chance to mess with him.
Mike discovers Jordan's awful dental hygiene, and forces Jordan to overcome his fear of going to the dentist. The laughing gas at the dentist's office seems to cancel out Jordan's craziness, and Mike gets sick of the new, boring, businessperson Jordan. Mike tries to bring back Jordan's crazy side.
Things at HTLBL may change for good when rival filmmaker James Derkiss (Alex Webster) threatens to take Jordan away from Mike.
