1x01 Wheel to the Stars

This did not age very well, and the first episode was quite a slog to go through. Writing is full of cliches, and romanticizes the Indian way of life a bit too much. The viewers don't really need over 30 minutes of visions and dancing, we get it. I expected the series to have more rounded characters, showing them as realistically as possible, but instead this just feels like a Hallmark movie.

Reminds me in parts of "Dances with Wolves"

Not overly excited so far. The plot develops rather slow. It took a long time for events to unfold that you know would happen ten minutes in. It also seems to put a lot of emphasis on romanticizing everything. Feels very Hallmark.
