I am so disappointed. Maybe its different writers because the actor were good or maybe its a bad script with no direction. I Just couldn't get pass this episode and gave up. It just got to annoying to continue. The music like video segments really did it in for me in ep2 but push on and just couldn't take it. I still enjoyed the first 4 seasons. Just didn't have the flow the previous seasons had.

It's such a joy to be able to laugh until your ribs and face ache. Lucifer is one of the very, very few comedic shows that can do that for me. I love this silly, irreverent mess so much!

Much better than the last two episodes.

Trixie is properly back in the episode, so I like that. The episodes are getting really heroes-heavy, so there's not much screentime for Maze, who has been an awesome actress, but this episode saw a decent chunk from her, so also loving that part.

I think Dan was horrible in the first half of the season, but he has done a great job in the second part so far, and Linda has been a really cool character again, who has also lost a little screentime in the recent past, just like Maze. All in all, hopefully the season gets better and better. And I hope we get to see more of Maze & Linda & Trixi.

When Lucifer and Chloe finally starts to solve cases together again bloody Hollywood ruins everything with this moronic parody of God. Are Hollywood writers completely braindead nowadays?

I'm not convinced by this season.../part of the season.
I'm deeply annoyed and frustrated with how they're writing and portraying god, and I'm not even Christian whatsoever. Which maybe makes it even sadder. For the universe in which Lucifer plays out, that particular god being the most almighty being that created everything yada yada etc etc to have such little character is just... insulting. I mean it would be insulting to any god portrayed, really. The whole thing with him being vengeful and all, I'll take that. But now he's just being right out stupid. He's being an annoying, awkward old man, not a god. If that's the point they're trying to deliver here, then the delivery is weak. It has no ground to stand on. xoxo and slushies... seriously, just... :face_vomiting:
All the other characters are doing fine. Just cancel God already, please, and safe the show.

So yeah. This has been really disappointing so far.

This was a good one. God blowing up Dan was so damn funny. I hope Maze gets that soul later. Maybe she'll do some good deed or give her life for someone. If you know what I mean.

With how little time Trixie spends with her parents, it's amazing she didn't turn out worse. That said, with how many times Trixie has gotten in trouble at school, I'm surprised she hasn't been kicked out or had CPS investigate.

I can't see Lucifer being a boxing fan. That's more up Amenadiel, Dan, or Maze's alley. Even Linda seems like she'd be more into fighting sports than Lucifer.

Okay, so Trixie is 11 now. That doesn't match up with the timeline they've tried to establish, but at least they're not claiming a clearly preteen girl is still 9.

A couple things have been consistently irritating me ever since God showed up. 1. Absolutely zero mention of the son he lost. 2. Lucifer seems to have forgotten that God was originally going to kill him until Goddess convinced God to send Lucifer to Hell instead. That's a pretty big point of contention that should have been addressed.

Why on earth would Chloe expose her in the middle of surgery? I swear, they made everyone dumber this season...

"Don't want a flood on our hands."
"Not with the plumbing, not with the feng shui of the penthouse, not with the soda dispenser that started miraculously pumping Pinot Noir!"
"Drinks like a fish, surprisingly charming. Reminds me of a young me."
"That's what you said about the bloody dinosaurs!"

God is so much fun! Love it!

Much better than the last two episodes, though it's still far from being great. The comedic moments are what make this enjoyable. Without those moments, I'd probably be really fed up.
