Theresa tells Whitney about her plans to keep the babies, even if they do belong to Gwen and Ethan. Whitney tries to tell Theresa that what she is doing is wrong, but Theresa refuses to listen. Just then Gwen and Ethan come in, and, noticing that Whitney looks tired, immediately ask after her health. T.C. continues in his attempts to kill Julian, but luckily Sam shows up in the nick of time. He tries to talk T.C. out of beating Julian to death with a wrench, and finally T.C. pulls away. In the jungle, Sheridan continues to insist that Luis may be alive, despite the explosion.
At the hospital, Kay laments to Simone that her life is over. Miguel has walked away from their relationship, her bills are more than she can ever pay and not covered by insurance, and no one will ever love her because she cannot have any more children. Simone reminds her that her life isn't peachy keen either -- the man who swore he'd love her forever left her for her sister. Gwen continues to wait on Theresa hand and foot, having forgiven Theresa for everything she's done, but Theresa remains firm in her plans to keep the children she promised to Gwen and Ethan.
After overhearing Eve remind Theresa that she was only pregnant with one baby (Gwen and Ethan's) after the implantation, Gwen loses it. She reminds Ethan of all the lies and schemes Theresa pulled in the past, and admits to Eve that she's convinced that Theresa plans to pull yet another fast one and keep those twins in her belly. Even Fox is disgusted with what Theresa has done and tells her he is totally on Gwen's side, and demands she tell him what she did. Later, Ethan begins to have flashbacks of that night, and realises that he may have been raped by Theresa.
Theresa and Fox talk about their past, both admitting that while they cared about each other, they were never in love with each other. When Chad kisses Whitney's forehead, she pushes him away. He tries to get her to remember their past, but she tells them that what they had was sick. Alistair suggests to Paloma that her family doesn't really care about her, and thinking about how much her family has had over the years and the fact that they've never once tried to bring her home causes her great pain.
When Theresa tells Fox he needs to go slow with his plans to get Whitney, he reminds her that raping Ethan certainly wasn't going slow. Whitney tells Chad that he cannot kiss her anymore, and that their life together is over forever. When Chad asks Fox to look after Whitney he demurs, but is secretly pleased that this will give him yet one more excuse. Whitney goes to see Theresa, who not-so-subtly pushes her in Fox's direction. Alistair looks at a picture of Katherine and remembers his first love, her sister Rachel, who died in a boating accident. Paloma meets Pilar for the first time in years, but can't enjoy it because she can't forget about what Alistair said. When Luis starts talking about his and Sheridan's plans, Paloma is more convinced than ever that what Alistair said was true.
After Pilar collapses, Martin lays her down on the couch as her worried family watches. Pilar begins to have a series of flashbacks of her life with Martin, and when she regains consciousness, she believes the man holding her is her husband. Whitney seeks out Fox, determined to put her plan into motion. She apologizes for the way she's treated him, and talks about him being in love with her. Then she kisses him. After leaving Whitney (to read Little Ethan a bedtime story), Theresa heads over to see Chad and tries to get him to see that he and Whitney are over, but Chad says he'll never accept another man in his half-sister's life.
Chad continues to lament his and Whitney's fate, stating that they still love each other and he will kill any man who comes into her life. Meanwhile, Whitney and Fox continue to kiss. While he takes a business call, Whitney prays that God will forgive her for what she is about to do, and vows that she will take a page out of Theresa's book and manipulate whoever she has to in order to protect the child inside of her. Pilar continues to believe that her husband is holding her in his arms, and calls Eve and Julian at the house for help. In Alistair's office, he manhandles Katherine, then pushes her on the desk, climbing on top of her.
Fox and Whitney's dinner at the Seascape is marred by Fox's lies to Whitney about their past, Chad's presence at the bar, and Fox's worry that Whitney is spending too much time with Theresa and becoming as dishonest as her friend. It begins to go better for them when they leave and share a passionate kiss, not realising Chad is watching. After talking to Gwen and Ethan, Paloma finally meets Theresa for the first time, and is introduced to her nephew. Theresa talks about how difficult her life was growing up and how she envied Paloma, and looking around at everything Theresa has, Paloma is insulted by what her sister has said, because she seems to have everything. While on the beach together, Sheridan and Luis see wreckage from Antonio's plane, and for the first time they realise what their deceptions did to him. Alistair continues to paw at Katherine when Martin comes in. Martin tries to separate them, but Katherine tells him that she's chosen to be with Alistair.
Luis tries to comfort Sheridan after seeing the wreckage from the jet, but she is convinced that if she and Luis ever get married, they will never be happy. Alistair taunts Katherine, stating that he is going to arrange for her to have plastic surgery to return to the way she was, but then shocks her with the news that he will restrain her to the hunting lodge, making sure she never sees her children or grandchildren. She finally pulls the gun out and points it at him, and when the two struggle, the gun goes off. While at the Seascape for dinner with Sam, Ivy runs into Eve in the bathroom. Eve calls Ivy on buttering her up, and tells her that she's not going to continue to allow her to get away with what she's done. Eve tells Ivy that she's going to tell Sam the truth. After seeing Fox and Whitney kiss, Chad attacks Fox, and Sam and Julian have to pull them apart. While Eve tries to talk to Whitney, Julian tells Fox to stay away from her.
While Theresa eavesdrops, Rebecca tries to convince Gwen and Ethan that Theresa will use any means necessary to come between them, but Gwen is convinced that Theresa isn't that evil and Ethan assures Gwen that no matter what Theresa will never stop their future together with their child. Determined to do just that, Theresa suddenly fakes pains and announces that she thinks she is losing the baby. After Martin's revelation about his true identity, Sheridan tells Mrs. Wheeler that she lied to her, and she doesn't want to have anything more to do with her since Luis and Pilar are her family. Katherine is devastated. Fox is overjoyed to find Whitney's positive pregnancy test, but when Whitney denies her pregnancy, Ivy starts putting two and two together and asks if the baby is Chad's.
Rebecca realises right away that Theresa is faking her pains because she used to do the same thing years earlier to Jonathan when she had been pregnant with Gwen. Unfortunately for the baby, Theresa's fake cramps soon become real, and Gwen and Ethan decide to take her to the hospital. While Beth commisserates with Luis over learning that his father has been with another woman, Sheridan warns Beth against speaking against Mrs. Wheeler, which causes Luis to side with Beth. Whitney's worst nightmare comes true when Ivy announces her pregnancy to Chad, who immediately assumes the baby is his.

Ethan and Gwen are devastated to learn that Theresa is the biological mother of the baby girl in the NICU. As Theresa takes Ethan off to officially meet his daughter, Gwen has to be sedated after it sinks in that her last chance at parenthood was the baby boy who died. Whitney is shocked that, once again, Theresa has gotten everything she wanted. Not only that, but Theresa firmly believes that Gwen deserves everything she got!
Ivy and Ethan can't believe it when a mentally unbalanced Gwen again stabs Theresa with a scalpel. Theresa falls into a coma, but comes out of it when Ethan places their daughter in her arms. Ethan is nervous and asks Theresa not to press charges against Gwen, who's been arrested.
Liz drinks the poisoned punch by accident instead of Eve. Eve then becomes the prime suspect in the attempted murder of her sister. Rebecca is delighted and convinced that her rival will go to prison for the rest of her life.
Eve desperately defends herself against TC's angry accusations. She appears guilty though when her hospital key card is shown to have accessed the storage closet where the poison used on Liz is stored. ""Mrs. Wheeler"" is pushed to the edge and finally admits to Sheridan that she is in fact her mother.

Beth attempts to reconnect Sheridan and Katherine so that she can get Luis upset with his bride. Sheridan tries to stop her mother from leaving the church so she can find out why she left her as a child. Katherine breaks down and admits the real reason she and Martin left town.
Katherine doesn't want her presence to hinder Sheridan and Luis' happiness, so she pushes Sheridan away. Alistair comes out of his coma and tries to rape Katherine.
Liz sends her sister Eve to jail by identifying her as the person who poisoned her. A psychiatrist visits Gwen, who's delusional, at her jail cell.
The psychiatrist tells Ethan that the longer she stays confined, the greater the chances that she'll be forever lost. Rebecca believes that God is punishing her by taking it out on her daughter.
Rebecca tries to do right by confessing her involvement in Liz's poisoning. But when she learns the steep penalties Eve is facing, she has second thoughts about admitting her crimes.
After being stabbed by Gwen, Theresa can't feel her legs, and so changes her mind about dropping the charges.
Julian finds out that his mother is still alive and they are reunited. Katherine is afraid her very presence could break up Sheridan and Luis forever.
Sheridan tells Luis that they should get married right away. Pilar shows that she has underlying feelings for Martin by sharing a kiss. She begs Martin to tell her the real reason he left Harmony.
Whitney gets angry and lashes out at Fox. She contemplates admitting the horrible truth about her baby to Katherine. Chad guesses that Whitney's upset because she's still in love with him.
Liz visits Eve in jail so she can gloat. Eve asks her sister to tell the truth and admit that she didn't hand her the poisoned punch. Ethan requests again that Theresa not press charges against Gwen. Gwen thinks Sheridan kidnapped her baby and so attacks her best friend from her cell.
Fox confronts Whitney regarding the shocking conversation he overheard between her and Katherine. Luis keeps Pilar from hearing the real reason Martin left.
Sheridan chokes Katherine while sleepwalking without even knowing it. Sheridan wakes and is horrified to discover that she tried to kill her mother. Alistair tells Katherine that the secret Martin possesses will destroy Sheridan.
Theresa thinks that Ethan is trying to deceive her in order to help Gwen. Ethan and Theresa decide to name their baby Jane. Ethan visits Theresa and a feverish Jane in the hospital. Gwen then cuts her wrists with a broken mirror, determined to get to the hospital and kill Theresa.
Eve goes free when Julian pays her bail. Jessica sneaks out of the house dressed in revealing clothing, and Ivy finds incriminating belongings in her room.
Kay, Simone and Paloma see Jessica at a nightclub making out with an older man. Paloma is knocked unconscious in a back room of the club after fighting off unwanted sexual advances.
Gwen is rushed to the hospital and, while left alone, plots to stab Theresa in the back with a pair of scissors and get rid of her once and for all. Martin wants to tell Pilar and Luis the truth about why he left town, but Katherine begs him not to destroy Sheridan's life. While Kay, Jessica and Simone attempt to explain what happened at the club, Sam gets a call that Paloma is in the hospital. Despite having asked him to leave, Theresa blames Ethan for them having to bring Jane to the hospital. Eve wonders if it's possible she might have poisoned Liz and blocked out the memory.
Julian and Eve talk about the poisonings, and theorize that it's possible that three different people may have tried to kill Julian, Alistair and Liz. Gwen corners Theresa in a side room, listing the crimes that Theresa has committed against her and how she has hurt her in the past. The the hospital staff works to help an unconscious Paloma, Sam tries desperately to contact the Lopez-Fitzgerald family. Martin is still torn between telling his family the truth and protecting the woman his son loves when Sam calls. Alistair sends a fur-clad Tina off to the mansion to prepare for a little fun.
After Ethan, Sam, Rebecca and the officers manage to separate Gwen and Theresa, Theresa again taunts Gwen with the knowledge that her children are dead, sending Gwen into another psychotic fugue. When the police tell Pilar where Paloma was and how she was acting, she blames Martin and Katherine for turning her daughter into a tramp, insisting she learned it from Katherine. Julian demands his father supply answers in regards to who poisoned him, but Alistair delights in telling Julian he was just yanking his chain when he said he knew who did it. When a nurse leaves the baby unattended, Gwen grabs the child she believes is her daughter Ashley and leaves the hospital.
While Sam, Ethan and Theresa search the hospital for Jane, Gwen drives out of Harmony with the baby (calling her Ashley). But Gwen doesn't realise she's kidnapped someone else's baby -- she truly believes the baby is hers. Pilar attacks Katherine, blaming her for the situation that Paloma is in right now. When Paloma awakens and wants to see Katherine instead of Pilar, it makes her even angrier. Eve is shocked to realise that Whitney has been purposefully not taking care of herself because she hates the child growing inside of her.
A terrified Paloma identifies Vic as the man who attacked her in the club, but her family is relieved to realise that she was not raped as well. A hysterical Theresa finally realises that Gwen has the baby and attacks Rebecca, blaming her for everything that has happened. Gwen drives to the Crane cabin with the baby, determined to never return to Harmony so that Theresa cannot hurt her again.
Chad and Fox are shocked to overhear Whitney admit to Eve that she doesn't want the baby, and jump to the conclusion that it's because the child will have Crane blood flowing through it's veins. Between the deaths of Ethan and Gwen's children and the kidnapping of Ethan's daughter, Sheridan can't stop herself from reliving her own loss, and admits to Luis she believes the baby is alive and well. Gwen takes the baby to a local store to get groceries, where a clerk gets suspicious after hearing the Amber Alert on the radio.
In Harmony, Beth and Mrs. Wallace are surprised to hear the Amber Alert on the radio searching for the baby. While searching the Crane mansion hoping to find information on Gwen and the baby, Ethan, Sam and Luis finding a secret door.
Whitney goes to see Chad, and is stunned by the level of jealousy she feels when she finds him making love to Valerie. Meanwhile, Eve admits to Julian that Chad is the father of Whitney's baby. Gwen continues to believe that it's only a matter of time before Ethan shows up to join her and Ashley on their new life together, and enjoys spending time with the child she believes is her daughter.
Eve begs Julian not to tell anyone that Fox is not the father of Whitney's child, but Julian struggles with his desire to do right by his lover, and his desire to do right by his son.
Fox goes to Julian for a father and son talk, and admits that he believes someone else may be the father of Whitney's child. Although Julian wants to tell him everything, he keeps his word to Eve. Desperate to keep Marty, Beth attempts to convince Luis that Sheridan has no idea what she is talking about when she claims Marty as her child. Whitney turns to her mother finally, but when she admits to Eve that she is still in love with Chad, Eve is horrified.
Many of Harmony's couples enjoy a romantic Valentine's Day at the Seascape, but nothing is as it seems. Julian and Eve are worried about Whitney carrying her half-brother's child as Liz watches gleefully, happy at all the pain she has caused. Katherine and Martin share dinner, but Katherine can only think about leaving Harmony. Chad and Valerie are together, but Valerie worries about Chad when he admits he can't stop thinking about Whitney.
Gwen tells Rebecca all about the future she and Ethan will have with Ashley, but Rebecca warns her that she can't contact Ashley, and tells Gwen that Theresa has convinced herself that Ashley is actually her baby and that Ethan also believes it. A hurt Gwen can't understand why Ethan refuses to believe Ashley is theirs. Katherine shows up to get Alistair's help in leaving, and is furious to realise he was watching her and Martin make love at the B&B.
Ethan calls Rebecca up at the cabin, and despite her mother's warnings, Gwen desperately wants to speak with her husband. Rebecca manages to keep her away from the phone, but not before Ethan hears her voice. Luis again attacks Martin, but Pilar tells him to leave his father alone, and reiterates her support of Martin. Later, when Luis finds Katherine comforting a distraught Sheridan, he pulls her out of her mother's arms.
Rebecca forces Gwen to keep in hiding with the baby as she tries to deflect Ethan's questions up at the cabin. Julian and Eve worry about the potential birth defects their child could have because of his parentage. Pilar tells Martin she wants him to come back to her, but Martin tells her that it isn't going to happen.
Martin is furious when he catches Alistair and Katherine togther, demanding Alistair not hurt her anymore. Ethan calls the police to tell them to search the Crane cabin, but Rebecca is one step ahead of him. Sheridan begs Luis to take her to see Marty, swearing that she now realises the boy is not her son. Beth researches the perfect way to kill Sheridan, then has an amusing fantasy about the results.
Sheridan remains convinced that Marty is her son and is bound and determined to prove it, but Beth is equally determined to kill Sheridan and make it look like suicide. Although Captain Ladish doesn't want to go anywhere without Alistair's say-so, Rebecca works her wiles on him so that he will take Gwen and the baby out of Harmony. Eve confronts Whitney about the fact that she threw out her prenatal vitamins and is not eating, as Fox worries about the baby.
After learning her mother told Julian the truth about the baby's paternity, Whitney drops a bomb shell of her own and admits that she's still in love with Chad and still wants him. As a devastated Martin reads Katherine's goodbye letter, Luis realises that Katherine is on the Crane jet with Gwen and the baby. Valerie is both hurt and disgusted when Chad admits to her that he still loves Whitney and wants to be with her. Fox proposes to Whitney.
Everyone is terrified that Alistair has tripped some sort of remote control explosive device, only to realise that he's simply holding a light. Alistair delights in telling everyone that only Katherine knows where they are going. Chad interrupts Fox's proposal to Whitney, prompting Fox to attack Chad. Julian separates them, taking Fox's side. Alone with Whitney, Chad tells her he still wants to be with her. Katherine tries to convince Gwen to take the baby and get off the plane, but is unsuccessful as the plane takes off.
Rebecca confronts Theresa and points out that everything that has happened to her is because Theresa obsessed over getting Ethan, and that she deserves what she gets because she killed both of Gwen's children. When Fox, Ivy, Eve and Julian overhear Chad telling Whitney that he still loves her and will always love her, they're disgusted, and Fox attacks Chad. Jessica sneaks out to see Randy at the club again. Rebecca reminds Ethan that Theresa made a binding agreement to give the baby to Gwen.
Kay and Simone are upset when they realise Jessica has snuck out again, but they're in for more bad news when Ivy tells them that Chad and Whitney may be reuniting. Simone admits she is relieved that Whitney stole her boyfriend, because it could have been her sleeping with her half-brother. Sheridan and Theresa are devastated to watch the plane take off. Rebecca takes great pleasure in giving Theresa a taste of her own medicine.
Eve and Julian are shocked to realise that Chad and Whitney may end up spending their lives together, even though they are half-siblings. Pilar admits to Martin that she is enjoying watching him in so much pain over Katherine's disappearance. Beth launches her plan to kill Sheridan and make it look like suicide.
After Sheridan shows up at Beth's door after a fight with Luis, Beth plays the concerned friend, but inside she's delighted her plans to kill Sheridan seem to be falling in place. Eve accidentally lets the truth about the baby's paternity slip in front of Chad, but luckily she is able to cover her tracks before he realises what she said. Father Lonigan offers counsel to a worried Luis, who feels that Sheridan might be preparing to commit suicide.
Kay and Simone search desperately for Jessica and Paloma at the club, but only manage to find Paloma. Unfortunately, Randy has enlisted the help of another patron in getting some time alone with Jessica. Luis refuses to listen to Pilar when she tries to point out the fact that if Martin hadn't left town, Luis never would have met and fallen in love with Sheridan. Theresa uses Little Ethan in an attempt to convince Ethan to spend the night with her, which makes Ethan very uncomfortable.
Pilar eavesdrops as Martin tells Sam how much he respects her for how wonderful both Luis and Theresa turned out to be. Kay and Simone watch over a drugged-out Paloma and worry about Jessica, as Randy takes advantage of Jessica in a pay-by-the-hour type of room. Simone calls her father to tell him what's up, and T.C. attacks Chad as everyone waits to learn why Whitney refused Chad's proposal.
Sheridan tries to convince herself that Marty is not her child, not realising that Beth is currently talking to Luis to keep him away from her. Jessica is still stoned as she is roaming the streets of Harmony, getting into even more trouble. Pilar is heartened when she hears Martin tell Sam he's always loved her.
Katherine tries to convince Gwen to return to Harmony with the baby, but Gwen remains convinced that the baby is hers and sees no reason to put her child at risk. Kay can't understand the horrifying vision she had about Jessica and has no idea that her sister is passed out in the front yard. Pilar demands to know if Martin will stay with her.
Gwen turns the tables on Katherine when she urges her to return to Harmony to her family and loved ones, but Katherine knows they're better off without her there. Theresa doesn't understand when Whitney tells her that she has turned down Fox' marriage proposal. Pilar again demands Martin give her and answer.
After Jessica is found beaten and bloody at the front door, Eve tells a devastated Sam that she has most likely been raped. Beth is terrified her plot to kill Sheridan will be discovered when Luis shows up wanting to talk to her. Theresa is shocked when Whitney admits that she hates her unborn child.
Gwen's plans to flee to Europe to protect her daughter from Theresa are put on hold when Katherine reminds her that she would be leaving Ethan too. Sam is determined to get revenge on Jessica's attacker, and sends Fox, Chad and Ethan to destroy the club. Theresa is shocked to learn Chad fathered Whitney's child.
Theresa is horrified to learn Whitney is considering moving in with Chad and begs her to reconsider before she and Chad can commit the ultimate sin of sleeping together (again). Katherine again tries to convince Gwen to return to Harmony, but Gwen reminds her that Theresa legally signed Ashley over to her, and that it is similar to Katherine and Martin's situation with raising Pilar's daughter Paloma. Luis has trouble understanding Eve when she says Sheridan may die unless she has another child soon. Kay and Simone wait anxiously for Jessica to wake up as Pilar and Martin watch over Paloma.
Theresa remains horrified at Whitney's fervent belief that it is better if her child is never born, and tries to make her see that she and Chad can never be. Tabitha makes a solemn vow that she will never allow Julian Crane to have custody of her daughter, which Endora whole-heartedly agrees with. Luis worries about Sheridan when Eve tells him only a child can save her sanity, and Beth expresses her belief that Sheridan tried to kill herself. Ethan is shocked to realise Chad wants to share a life with Whitney.
Luis announces that he wants joint custody of Marty in order to preserve Sheridan's sanity, and Beth vows that 'her' son will not be used to save Sheridan. Theresa encourages Whitney to keep her child and marry Fox, but Whitney tells Theresa that she is not willing to live a lie. Sam is wracked with guilt over Jessica's rape, and plans to call Grace home to help with the girls. Fox wonders if Ethan is falling back in love with Theresa.
Desperate to keep Grace from coming back to Harmony, Ivy manipulates Jessica into begging Sam not to let Grace come home by telling Jessica how furious Grace will be. Paloma blames Pilar for Katherine's disappearance, but Martin defends his wife. Whitney talks Fox into helping find Gwen and the baby.
Mrs. Wallace again tries to bully Beth into returning Marty to Luis and Sheridan, but Beth isn't willing to let 'her son' go. Fox narrows down Katherine, Gwen and the baby's location by tracing a phone call. Alistair reminds Katherine that she is his property, and that she owes him. Theresa does her best to talk Whitney out of giving her child up for adoption.
Worried about Katherine's safety, Gwen does her best to try to convince Katherine to flee with her and the baby. Back in Harmony, Fox tells Ethan that once he brings Gwen and the baby home he'll have to choose which woman he wants to stay with. Whitney realises she'll have trouble putting her child up for adoption once she learns she needs to have both parents' signatures. Sheridan tells Luis she is still convinced Marty is their son.
Although Ivy is relieved when Sam tells her he's sorry about the way he reacted, she still worries that Sam may call Grace home. As Ethan helps Fox draft power of attorney documents, a shocked Theresa realises that Whitney plans to get Fox to give her the power of attorney so she can sign off on the adoption. While Beth is out, Luis picks Marty up from Mrs. Wallace and takes him to the cottage to see Sheridan.
Sheridan is thrilled to have Marty staying at the cottage for the next few days, but Beth is less than thrilled to realise that Mrs. Wallace just gave the boy to Luis. Ivy continues her attempts to keep Sam from informing Grace about Jessica's rape, as the young woman despairs over her recent trauma. Whitney goes into labor, but she and Theresa hide this news from Fox, who has called to check up on her.
Eve prepares to deliver Whitney's baby and asks Theresa to get her medical bag, which Theresa walks over to get. While Luis and Marty are out with Beth, Julian promises Sheridan that he will do his best to find Katherine. Valerie is willing to wait around until Chad can get over his lustful obsession for his half-sister. Mrs. Wallace and Precious share a tearful goodbye when Precious receives news of a sick aunt.
Eve attempts to assure Whitney that her baby boy is perfect in every way, but Whitney still refuses to even look at her child. Alistair encourages Chad to go after Whitney, even sleep with her if he still wants to, much to Julian's disgust. Precious and Edna share a tearful goodbye.
After being needled by Tabitha about how much she will lose if Grace ever decides to come to Harmony, Ivy goes to check on Jessica and just misses catching her with the bloody rags. After Whitney's son is rushed to the NICU, Whitney prays for God to take care of him in Heaven. Luis and Sheridan spend time with Marty, but Luis warns her that if she keeps insisting he is hers Beth will cut them off. Mrs. Wallace is shocked to watch Alistair and Beth plot to kill Sheridan.
Eve and Theresa both try to convince Whitney to tell the truth about her baby being the product of incest, but Whitney says she is prepared to let God decide her son's fate. Gwen prepares to say goodbye to Katherine and leave with Ashley, only to learn that she, too, is Alistair's prisoner. As Beth and Alistair plot Sheridan's demise, Mrs. Wallace has a flashback to the 1970s of a night where she and Alistair were lovers.
Theresa finally convinces Whitney to talk to Chad, but just as she is about to tell him the truth about who fathered her baby, Chad tells her how glad he was they never had a child together. Fox makes a daring attempt to rescue Gwen, Katherine and the baby, but is caught by the Crane guards. Mrs. Wallace watches Beth and Alistair plot as she secretly worries that Alistair is Beth's father from that long ago night. Theresa again pushes Ethan to give up on his marriage to Gwen to be with her.
Gwen and Sheridan are horrified when they find Fox lying lifeless on a slab. Katherine mourns for her grandson, only to be shocked (along with Gwen) when he regains consciousness. A brief lapse in Sheridan's attention allows Alistair to grab his grandson and take off, leaving a frantic Sheridan wondering what happened to the boy. Whitney explains why she didn't tell Chad the truth, and admits she is as adamant as ever about giving up her son for adoption.
Ethan is confused when Alistair tells him that Gwen, Fox, Katherine and the baby are out of the picture, and Alistair continues plotting his vengeance as he encourages Ethan to be with Theresa. Sheridan finds Alistair with Marty and demands he return her son. Alistair returns him but advises Sheridan that if Luis doesn't back off, Marty could be the one to suffer. At the compound, Gwen and Katherine are both shocked to find that Fox has no desire to return to his son, and Gwen comments that he is more selfish than Theresa has ever been. Whitney signs away not only her rights to the baby, but Fox' as well.
Alistair takes great pleasure in telling Gwen and Katherine that they are his permanent prisoners. He then tells the assorted group that Whitney has recently given birth and Martin has moved back home with Pilar, and Gwen is both shocked and disgusted at how little Fox cares about Whitney's son. Whitney refuses to reconsider putting her son up for adoption and when Chad tells her she's throwing her child in the garbage like Eve threw him out, she defends her mother and reminds him that Eve thought he was dead. Sheridan asks Julian to help her get Luis to back off Alistair. Luis is furious to learn Martin has moved back home.
With Ethan and Theresa present, Chad tries to convince Whitney that the two of them can raise the child, and Whitney refuses to live a life of sin with her half-brother. Alone, Whitney breaks down over losing her son, but knows that giving him up is the best thing she can do for him. As Beth arrived to pick up Marty, Sheridan refused to allow Beth to see the boy. Beth tried to get to Marty herself, only to have Sheridan grab her and hold her back. Sheridan suddenly remembered the clowns, and refuses to let Beth see Marty, insisting he's her child. Alistair forces himself on Katherine with Gwen and Fox watching. Gwen begs Fox to help his grandmother, but when he does nothing, she attempts to help Katherine herself, and is pushed to the ground for her efforts. Luis again demands that Martin tell him exactly what Alistair had on him all those years ago, but Martin refuses to tell him, determined to protect Sheridan.
Ned and Fancy are on a crazy adventure as they hide from hotel security guards while in Las Vegas. Sheridan overhears a conversation between Luis and Theresa about love and trust and is hurt by what she hears. Ethan and Gwen ask for Luis’s help in trying to convince Theresa to hand over custody of baby Jane to them.
A determined Katherine confronts Alistair. Ned and Fancy find themselves in a world of trouble when they make a startling discovery. More fighting with Luis causes Sheridan to make a stunning announcement.
Fox sabotages Chad. Whitney begins to follow in her mother's sordid footsteps. A devastated Theresa finally hands Jane over to Ethan and Gwen.
Theresa lashes out at Pilar. After receiving the new DNA test results, Dottie frantically tries to reach Sheridan. Sheridan bids a tearful good-bye to Marty.

A bound and gagged Mrs. Wallace is discovered by Luis and Sheridan who were looking to confront Beth about Marty’s true mother. Paloma tries to help her self-destructive friend Jessica.
Beth is on the run and she kidnapped Marty. Luis and Sheridan contact the authorities and Sam helps them search for Beth and their son. Noah gets some surprising news.
Noah decides to get his revenge for what Spike has done to his family by torching his club, not realising that Fancy is inside. After learning Miles is sick, Whitney heads over to see her son. Alistair helps Beth escape with Marty.
Fox is furious when Whitney will not nurse the baby, and Eve slaps her daughter. Fancy and Spike are oblivious to the fact that the club is on fire. Luis promises Sheridan that no matter what, they will get their son back.
Ivy catches Rebecca hiding a secret. Luis goes after Alistair. Theresa pleads with Whitney to do the right thing.

Luis and the others finally catch up with Beth who turns out to be one of Alistair's employees, and Gwen, Katherine and Pilar try to comfort Sheridan. Rebecca accuses Ethan of letting Theresa see Jane so that he can be closer to Theresa. Noah continues to stress to Fancy that the thugs in Vegas could have it in for them. In Vegas, the shady guys try to find out who Ned and Fancy.
The horrified group first believes that Rebecca is dead, but are relieve when she regains consciousness ... until she points the finger at Theresa! Sheridan confronts Beth, who accuses her of stealing everything from her, including her boyfriend! Noah carries Fancy, then the two argue, which is overheard by Spike.
Theresa insists that she didn't push Rebecca, but Ethan tells her that whether she did or not, she can't be trusted, and that she will not see Jane unsupervised. After injuring herself, Gwen tells Sam and Luis to go after Sheridan -- Luis is able to save Sheridan's life, but isn't there in time to save Marty. Fancy and Noah manage to escape from Spike temporarily, but he soon has them back at gunpoint.
Sheridan slaps Luis, accusing him of not caring about her or Marty enough. He's floored when she suggests that he still loves Beth, and Alistair fans the flames by voicing the same opinion. Pilar warns Theresa that her anger and her bitterness could cost her everything, but Theresa vows to take Jane away from Ethan and Gwen. Noah saves Fancy by performing mouth-to-mouth after saving her from the cannery's holding bin. Chad tries to convince Whitney to stay with him and help the baby, but her solution is to call Eve.
