Now that Archie has thrown a trash can lid to disarm an enemy, he has truly become Captain America in just about every way possible. Great. That isn't absolutely stupid at all. How exactly is Archie managing to pull 12-hour shifts at the mine, and be a teacher, and coach the football team? Or do those things just stop existing once the story doesn't care about them? This show has an issue with object permanence.
So once Cheryl decides to worship nature, Kevin decides it's too much and dips out. Really? That's what causes you to back out? Not the fact that you were worshiping a dead teenager before? That part was ok? Idiot... Speaking of which - remember how Season 1 was all about Jason Blossom's death, and how we learned pretty early on that Jason was actually kind of a misogynist and a sex pest? Boy, we really have moved on from that, huh? Maybe let's not deify the dead teenager who wasn't a good person.
Veronica holds a potential murder charge over Chad's head to get what she wants in the divorce. (Side note - it would be attempted murder, not murder. Archie didn't get killed.) I'm pretty sure that blackmail is illegal. I don't think a room full of lawyers would sit idly by and watch one of the clients use blackmail like that in a legal proceeding.
