Instead of making this an interesting story about a creature that lives in the depth of the oceans this is a bad attempt at doing a humorous episode. The whole behavior of the crew involved is totally un-millitary, there seems to be no regulation in place to take out vehicles. The pissing contest between the two captains was really bad. And the funny twist that they were collecting poo is barely worth a smirk. And this marks the second time in a row that Krieg went against regulations - he should be off the boat. He's the least likeable character anyway.
Like I said, there was an interesting story to be had but they went the wrong way.
