01x05 - What About Bob?: 7.6/10 (Impressive)
My goodness, things are getting crazy. After last week's slight slowdown in pace, this episode's sudden escalation caught me off guard. “What About Bob?” makes a 180-degree turn and is non-stop action. Though it may disappoint some viewers, I feel the series has struck a good balance. My only gripe so far is that every challenge our protagonists have faced up to this point has been relatively simple to overcome, and it's high time the stakes were raised, and they faced a real setback. It felt a little light on the Sci-Fi aspects, but that may improve next week. The episodes' director, Vincenzo Natali, warrants praise for the stellar sequences at the bowling alley and the bridge.
This is a nearly perfect hour television, with a terrific narrative, fantastic dialogue, and incredible characters. The good guys, in particular, are really growing on me and making it extremely easy for me to root for them. I am enjoying the show tremendously.
8.5/10
That "god fond" is quite a thing...
It felt bad when Dr. Nuland killed that scientist with the bees but it feels less bad now - looks like she was far from innocent.
Billy Ann Baker is quite badass!
Looks like Wilf and the team need to up their game to protect the Fishers. That guy (Bob) was quite something... I'm surprised but relieved that they let Thommy live.
Flynne: "I got a foothold in your world now. So next time, I'll come for you instead."
Best episode since the pilot.
Who the hell are all these people and what the hell do they have to do with anything
I just realized that Ash is Cho from Harry Potter
We finally got some action going on. British people sure seem to enjoy TALKING, A LOT.
Awesome episode, except the car. It doesn't matter what material it is made out of, it would be completely undrivable, let alone unscathed. And even if there is some magical material that isn't even theoretical at this point, the driver would have been severely injured. ...Unless it is a peripheral, but we have seen peripherals take damage at mundane force levels, let alone fairly high impact.
That was just done in such a stupid way given how well the rest of the story building has been done.
Only now noticed that Tommy Constantine is Lincoln Clay from the Mafia 3 game. Cool to see him (Alex Hernandez) in a decent show.

I wish they would stop trying to push the romantic subplot with Wilf and Flynn. They clearly have no chemistry and it adds little too the story.
I'm also failing to see why RI cares so much about stolen information in a stub. They can just as easily cause a devastating world war there and call it done.
