Good episode. Somehow, Hoynes has grown a backbone. First, he sort of forced Bartlet to think about reelection, and he (right now) puts issues in front of his own ego. It's a shame that this is pretty much his last serious contribution to the Bartlet White House, be it as Vice President or as presidential candidate.
