It's a beautiful fall day, and Mr. and Mrs. Botsford drag Becky and TJ away from their video game to enjoy a family hike. Dr. Two-Brains is also outside apple picking with his henchmen -- of course his plans involve seizing cheese, as well. After realizing how delicious cheese and apples taste together, Two Brains decides he wants more...lots more. And that scheme was made easy, using his brand-new ray: The Cheese Seizer. Will Becky be able to sneak away from her family and become WordGirl to save the city's cheese?

Lady Redundant Woman has made copies of all the city officials (the Mayor, the Commissioner, and the Warden) to do her work for her. The redundant villainess has also made an evil copy of District Attorney Botsford. Doing LRW's bidding, the clone has stolen from the bank! Now the real Mrs. Botsford is being blamed, and is being forced to run from the city's police. Can WordGirl and Captain Huggy Face figure out who's really behind it, and prove which DA Botsford is the imposter?

Chuck's newest invention is called the Peanut Butter Blaster. Since Huggy has to roll an enveloped WordGirl around town, will she and her monkey sidekick be able to overcome the odds?

After a battle, WordGirl accidentally leaves Captain Huggy Face behind (again). So he spends the day doing all of his favorite things. When an overzealous Chuck strikes, it's up to Captain Huggy Face to single-handedly save the day.

TJ plans a meeting to divulge a secret about WordGirl to International WordGirl Fan Club members. The club was previously featured in Have You Seen the Remote? where more members were shown.
When Tobey finds out that a secret about his love/nemesis will be revealed, he crashes the meeting with an eavesdropping robot and threatens to destroy the clubhouse. WordGirl has to spring into action to save the clubhouse and her fans!

When they hear a rumor about a haunted treasure, the team goes on a search -- with The Butcher right behind! Granny May decides to become more notorious by committing bigger crimes involving crazy contraptions. Meanwhile, Becky is frustrated that she does not appear in any yearbook photos since she always has to escape to fight crime as WordGirl. The Big City Times announces a writing contest prize: win a day with WordGirl! A chance at a full-day encounter with everyone's favorite superhero causes TJ and Tobey to go to extremes to win -- ending in a robot-filled squabble at the library. Scoops and Violet also get involved, though they may be more interested in winning the contest than the prize. In the end, Violet wins with her poem about cookies.

Mr. Botsford is fixing a special feast for the family--his "Spicy Surprise"! He insists that it must be eaten as soon as it is done cooking. But Scoops comes by, and drags Becky into investigating a mystery with him. After some investigating, Becky realizes she is late for dinner and rushes back home, only to find out she missed her dad's special meal. He is devastated, but she convinces him to make it again for her. But when she returns to the scene with Scoops, and ends up missing dinner a second time, she ends up being "mega-grounded"!

Becky has to rely on an old Botsford tradition - the family trial, just like the courtroom to convince her family that she vanished from the feast for a good reason. Sally becomes Judge Sally Botsford and TJ and Bob become lawyers. But when Maria the Energy Monster breaks Dr. Two Brains out of jail and the two head over to the Botsfords to take back a powerful invention, will Becky be able to prove her innocence and transform into WordGirl in time to stop the two super villains?

It's Father's Day and The Butcher has big plans to mark the occasion. With Becky busy boogieing non-stop at the Father's Day Dance-a-thon, it's up to Captain Huggy Face to play the hero.
