Rand and Tommy kinda deserve each other. Pamela deserved better, no doubt.
This season has a very different tone to it and I can't say I like it. I have no idea where this is going. But instead of being excited I'm bored. Now, I'm sure there is a bigger picture being revealed I just don't see yet. Remains to be seen if I like everything comes together. And why does Cortana look different ?
The one constant to season one: Kwan is still an uterly uninteresting character.
THOSE NURSES GOD MOOOOOOOOVE OUT OF MY WAY
Absolutely outstanding, while I really liked the characters in episodes 1 & 2 i felt like this was the episode that made me fall in love with the majority of them, while also getting more attached to the actual plot. Music, action, acting, cinematography and special moments like the final scene there make this episode a 10/10 for me. Incredible stuff!
OH GOD THE FILTHY WATER DRINKING SCENE.:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl: Also the scene where the maid-servant was treating his wounds, those two are also funny together. :face_with_hand_over_mouth: Master Heo is such a troublemaker too. This show is way funnier than I expected. Also I just realized that the crown prince was also playing in D.P, I like his role here!
Peak romance, the fact that a SciFy drama delivered a better love story than actual romantic dramas this year is beyond, wow
Its been a long journey!
Goodbye Momo and Kinemon! Goodbye Wano!
Egghead greatness lets goooooo
Great starting.
Whoever didn't catch the Sarah Connor line from the actual man himself should be banned from the site!
I love the actress playing roscoe, plus the ending of the episode was perfect.
10 stars for the last 30 seconds of the episode. when we say thinking outside the box
The penultimate episode ties together the threads sewn throughout season one setting up a tense platform for the finale.
Glad to see season 2 has been green lit already. I’m ready to rank this season now. I think it’s the best tv series of 2023 so far.
Hilarious when "Hot Stove" was mentioned
If you didnt cry for Data, even if you saw what he was doing coming, then screw you bruh! The gang is back together for one final round, and if you don't get why that's awesome, get the fuck outa here!
The Sun, Moon and stars all aligned. This episode and season are some of the best Trek I’ve watched in a long time.
By far, the most beautiful episode this show has created to date. The moment those space creatures were born, the talks in ten four, the talk between riker and picard, the catapulting of the asteroid, nothing here wasn't solid gold. Ignore the hater reviewers calling this filler, star trek's heart has always been in it's substance, not in it's flash.
We are back babyyy:blue_heart::blue_heart::blue_heart:. Let's get Revenge.....
The iconic and legendary Lim Bokja is back this season OMG!
-Everyone: Lee Joon Gi is just perfect!
-Me: Choi Young Joon, would you marry me?
These last couple of episodes were really satisfying! :smirk:
This show is killing me especially the found family of it all :sob:
Oh god, I love Yiseo! I didn't expect much from the drama, just started watching it because it got recommended to me many times. I'm glad I finally started watching it, this is really enjoyable. The character developments are interesting, I'm really looking forward to see how everything will go on in the remaining 12 episodes! I was already hyped after the great first episode but slowly things are starting to get really exciting!
i just wanted to say how wholesome the relationship between saeroyi and his dad was and that we need more of this in media — loving and caring representation of the dynamics between parents and their children :heartbeat:
i also liked sooah. though at first she was presented as a questionable character, but then we get to know her more and idk she just became very likeable to me :woman_shrugging:
the first episode got me hooked and i can’t wait to find out what happens next: to saeroyi, the relationship between him and sooah, his future and what it has to do with the girl from the first minutes of the series :eyes:
The animation on this one was peak!
Don’t listen to the people saying DD is “ruined” from this episode, apparently they’ve never read the comics OR remember the show (or expect someone to dump all their trauma onto a character they just met in a legal comedy? Some people are really writing these reviews without a single actual critical lens).
This was a fun episode and I had a great time - though one of my biggest criticisms is the overarching plot that they’ve been trying to establish. It has a lot of potential, but the pacing of this storyline has been off for me the entire show. Besides the CGI it’s one of my biggest gripes, and I felt it again towards the end of this episode. There’s only one episode left and I really don’t know that it’s going to get concluded in a way I feel is satisfying, though that’s something I’ll have to wait until the finale to properly review.
Besides that though I had such a great time - it was SO great seeing Matt again and Leapfrog was a funny inclusion. Despite my above reservations I’m excited for the finale and seeing how this is going to go.
How can they release a crap like Obi Wan and then Andor which is damn amazing. This episode was a masterclass.
Contrary to some of the other comments on this episode and series in general - by all means bring on season 2 and beyond. This is what Star Trek was and is supposed to be!
The "problem of the week" storytelling is what made TOS and TNG what they were, and I'm glad they stuck to it with this series. Discovery and Picard aside, I'm excited for where we go from here.
I shouldnt say this, but this Daemon-Rhaenyra thing turned me on.
Honestly this might be my favourite episode so far, although I have pretty much been feeling that way for every new episode. What could have been a fairly clichéd and generic "alt universe/role reversal" story was elevated by the beautifully emotional conclusion to an ongoing plot thread. I was expecting to laugh going in, but I certainly did not think I would end the episode in tears.
