The promotional tie-ins were painful. I’m looking primarily at you Lexus and Kaspersky. To call it a plot is charitable. If you want to see a disaster, this is your movie.

I really enjoyed this. Well done Lisa Joy. The movie solidly surprised me twice. Minor, but poignant. In the terrible dearth of movies lately, this was a gem.
I was surprised at how truly terrible and silly this was. The actors tried, but the story and especially the directing and editing was shit.
Wow. This is a masterclass in tension, atmosphere, sound design, script, and character acting. Julia Garner is wonderful. If you are looking for a raw, uncomfortable look into a young woman's life as a corporate assistant, this is your movie. I would call it dystopian, but dystopias are typically imagined or unreal societies, while this is all too real. Must see.
Love the layers in this movie. Couldn't stop thinking about it after I left. I've seen it twice already. In fact, as I was leaving the theater, I saw myself going in and thought, "Man, he is going to love this!"
Ok, another thing, I love the shot of Betty Gilpin holding the shotgun. To me, that was the reason to see the movie right there.
For anyone wondering where this movie is... Universal Pictures pulled the release, which was scheduled to come out September 27, 2019. In a statement on the movie’s website, the studio said that this is not “the right time” for the film to be released, especially considering the recent mass shootings in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio.

Awful VFX and lame Rev 9 Terminator ruins what could otherwise have been a fun retread. Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton, and Mackenzie Davis all did a great job, but they had no chance of saving this atrocious screenplay. When T9 preforms his first big jump in the factory, it looks like Spider-Man from 2002. And seriously, the Terminators coming out of the water?! Was this footage left over from the original movie? My wife wisely chose not to go, and of the dozens of movies that I’ve seen without her, this is the one that she would have hated the most.

I really enjoyed this film. There should be more like this. Very visceral and clever with a killer soundtrack. 9/10 easily. All these pretentious 7/10 and lower comments... what does it take to impress you?
Watch the film and marvel at the way they weave a no-holds-barred spy thriller into the days leading up to the wall coming down.
I hadn't seen this movie in years. Just watched most of it again last night... it's incredibly bad. Every single thing about it is overdone or done poorly. The acting, the script, the CGI (marginal), the direction, the editing(!), the plausibility. It's truly not worth watching for any reason. Just watch the first one twice and pretend it ends in San Diego.
