Furie is what you feel when the restaurant tries to make a meal out of an appetizer. It's well made and looks good but they're not fooling anyone, there's just not enough there to make us feel satisfied.
Part horror, part family drama and part psychological study, Furie tries to cover too much yet doesn't live up to the promises made on the poster.
(Special mention goes to the soundtrack, which adds a depth to the film that the above par directing doesn't always deliver, and to Paul Hamy who dons the role of the bad guy like a stained, skin-tight T shirt.)
"let me finish" i laughed
I feel bad for this film and all the people involved! I'm not saying it's going to be the best film of the year or anything but, it just sucks it has to pay the price for someone else's bullshit! I hope they can get it released at some point!
Good episode, if a little heavy-handed with the gender queer patient - those particular scenes came across as A Very Special Episode.
That patient aside, I really enjoyed the maths geek storyline; likeable patient/family and funny moments.
I half agree with Anto's comment: Meredith and DeLuca don't match Amelia and Link for chemistry, but I still quite like them together - I certainly don't think DeLuca is anywhere near as insufferable as Owen. I'll admit that Meredith and DeLuca don't feel like a long-term prospect. I actually wouldn't be surprised if they don't make it to the season's end.
Speaking of Owen, I hope he doesn't split-up Teddy and Tomas as I like them together - as a tangent, I love Greg Germann on the show and I can see that if this were to happen it could easily prompt his character to leave the show.
It’s not immediately clear what it’s building towards.
But if you stick with it, you’ll find yourself watching one of the best films of the year.
Evoking the work of Vincent van Gogh, this animated feature is the composite work of 100 contributors. Art students will have a heyday. The story is pretty straight forward, the voice talents are top drawer, but the beauty of this film is in the visuals, although I found the jagged motion of the animation to be distracting. I give this film a 7 (good) out of 10, although an artist may give it a 9 (brilliant). [Animated Feature Film]
LOL that opening scene was quite amusing.. no dialogue needed; just smileys, selfies, and sushi ..yum!
(Also, that plucky sound sample is like the one used in the classic Sonic Empire by Members of Mayday)
Teströl és lélekröl (On Body and Soul) is a Hungarian love story between a handicapped older man and a woman with Asperger's, set in a slaughterhouse. The film is a very intense slow burn with moments of pure blaze, where nothing happens and everything happens.
