oh god that was some terrible fake crying...
This is by far the most interesting episode in terms of story and also character depth. It's the first time I really cared about these characters.
I feel like an extra 25 or 30 minutes would have been better to draw out the drama a little more. Still, pretty good and I can't wait for season 2!
I'm a... I'm a reporter.
Like a reporter or, uh,
a cultural critic, slash...
I... I had a website.
I create content...I don't have a job.
CGI trying to make people look younger still sucks! Please just stop trying until it works better.
Tell them Ellie is the little girl that broke your F** finger!!!
The butthurt comments here are hilarious; it's an alternate history show, and if they're crying SJW here I'm surprised they weren't sobbing Commie Propaganda in the first episodes if one is that sensitive and fragile to any societal difference. If anything, it feels realistic that in the show people have to be shamed and embarrassed into this decision back then from not being a first historical milestone. Anyway, the first two episodes can feel too scattershot for setting up an alternate history scenario while also establishing the show's own characters and storylines, but the 3rd and 4th being so focused gives it some real momentum and drive that make the show so involving now.
no, i don’t carry my vagina with me all the time. that would be too inappropriate. :drum:
The kids part is still far more interesting than the adults half.
She got me with the phone, not gonna lie.
OKAY BUT THIS SCENE WOW
Where is my mother?
I ate her
I didn't even know that was possible
Oh, awesome, the ship sent us another Sawyer.
That was hilarious XD
P.S. What a twist at the end of the episode, I didn't expect that at all!! Ben with Sayied in a flashforward, really WTF!
This season feels like its back peddling on Anne's feelings for Miss Walker and I don't like it!
And Thomas is horrible this season! I know it's his bastard uncle driving it but they're really painting him darkly too :(
The canal and railway stuff is fascinating. Ofc we know railways did win out in the end but you never think about how that changeover happened! We had a walking/cycling route that ran between villages where I grew up that we called the canal path. It wasn't until I got a bit older I realised it was literally that. A canal which had been filled in and was now a concrete pathway. So much change and innovation can been seen all around us in England.
so we're okay with daphne essentially raping simon? ok then .
i mean if they blow up the bomb they never get to the island so they never blow up the bomb and at some point they crash on the island... they're fucking up the timeline
Looks like "the wilderness" chose all the good writing staff of this show.
Oh wow that immediate regret on Anne's face when she slept with Mariana.
I do love seeing Anne empowered in a business setting. She's been such an inspiration for me while progressing my career in a male dominated industry.
Each episode has me more and more impressed with Bella's portrayal of Ellie. It's excellent.
Also, Ellie checking her hair in the reflection was super cute.
The godawful fake snow is getting on my nerves.
The clicking is just as eerie as ever!
Also the set pieces are absolutely gorgeous
The show was so much more interesting when it was about life in the highlands instead of the cruelties of one man. :|
"it's christmas!" "IT'S DECEMBER 10th!"
I'll be honest, if season 2 is all about the male camp I really won't be able to bring myself to care.
so much biphobia in this episode
"Sorry, it was an accident."
"So was the Y chromosome, but you don't see us throwing stuff at it."
4 episodes wasn't enough haha. I loved it especially the extra scene. Can't wait for the next Witcher season
