Why were they bringing DS9 actors? First Dr. Mora, now Nog... They are easily recognisable, so it felt weird watching them in Voyager as completely different characters since all shows take place in the same universe.
The movie is not without a flaws, but I must say that they managed to create a perfect movie that caters to fans by including some iconic scenes from the games and Easter eggs (Nolan North cameo was a great moment), but at the same time the one that won't be confusing to the newcomers and can be enjoyed even if you've never played the games.
The cast did a decent job, though they are a bit younger than they should have been.
All in all, it was really a fun watch and, as a big fan of the games, I thoroughly enjoyed this. I hope they will make a sequel.
This was a bit more violent then I thought it would be, but fun nonetheless. Amy Pond really kicked some serious ass, though the fighting scenes were borderline hilarious at the moments. That put aside, it has brilliant cast, solid plot and it's quite nicely shot followed by some good soundtrack. If they make a sequel, I will definitely watch it. 7/10 from me - Very entertaining movie when you just want to relax and enjoy.
I've honestly experienced vicarious embarrassment while watching this. They copied the first episode of Miranda almost word for word, even used the 'Orlando and Bloom' joke, but failed to deliver it. The acting feels forced and quite bad which is disappointing because Mayim is a good actress, but I guess she's just not right for this role (I don't know if there's anyone at all that could carry this US version). Her interaction with the audience seems awkward as well like she was just explaining her actions to us and I didn't feel connected to her. I have seen the second episode as well and it did not get better. Their own jokes aren't funny and the laugh track just makes it worse because there's really nothing to be laughing about. I might force myself to watch the rest just to see whether it would improve, but based on the first two episodes that's probably unlikely to happen.
They should have never tried to remake Miranda, that show is unique and utterly hilarious thanks to the performance of the brilliant Miranda Hart. So, all of you who might not have seen it yet, just do yourself a favor and go watch Miranda instead, it's infinitely better.
The only thing that bothered me in this movie was that Rey renounced her parents' name who died to protect her. It's disrespectful and honestly she disappointed me, so I like her a little less now. I really thought she would see her parents and not Luke and Leia. I know Skywalkers are all gone now and the writers wanted someone to continue the legacy, but she could've just added the Skywalker name to the Palpatine and be Rey Palpatine Skywalker, that way she would be honoring both her parents and the Skywalkers and it would be a much better ending.
Even though I didn't like that they made Frank Sam's son, I absolutely loved the finale. It was so satisfying to see that Annalise finally got rid of those life sucking leaches and started to take care of herself for a change. There are only two things I would do differently, first I don't understand why would Eve deliver the eulogy, she's completely unimportant character, it should have been Tegan since she's the one Annalise spent her life with if I understood correctly... But she wasn't even at the funeral... Perhaps she died as well though it wasn't stated. Second, they should've casted a different actor for the role of Christopher, I mean no one looks that much like their father. It's obvious they did that just to make us think it's Wes. Apart from that, it was perfect finale. And Viola once again delivered Emmy worthy performance, her closing words at the trial gave me goosebumps, what a way to say goodbye to her character.
Farewell HTGAWM!
Pointless episode except for the ending, but the ending is bad as well. I hope Richard will be ok.
The new doctor is really unpleasant, I truly hope he won't be sticking around for too long.
Rami really managed to capture all of the Freddie's moves and mimics, it was a pleasure to watch. He was definitely born to play this role.
I tried to hold it in, but then Mark showed up and the fountain of tears came down. They managed to break my heart once again in less than 5 seconds.
I really, really don't like spiders, so this was proper scary, but good episode that held my attention to the very end. Oh and I love Thirteen more and more each episode! I hope she meets Ed Sheeran! xD
A bit better than the first one and I think Harry is actually starting to grow on me.
No! Not Oliver! Don't you dare!
Damn, what a plot twist!!! I know there won't be one, but I need a second season!
One slap is not enough for Bellamy, she should have beaten the hell out of him. Poisoning his sister without any sign of remorse and then pressuring a child who knows nothing about the wars into the ascension... I've never thought I'd dislike him this much...
I hope Octavia will make it through this season, as for Bellamy, I really don't care... I think they were maybe foreshadowing his death from the start with Octavia telling him he would be an enemy of wonkru if he betrayed her, and then there's that photo of the scene where Echo and Clarke are crying and I'm assuming that Echo would only cry if something happened to him. But, I might be wrong...
Pretty solid reboot of the franchise. I enjoyed all the references to the 2013 game and Alicia was better Lara than Angelina ever was. Perfect casting choice.
Great season premiere! I think I'm already in love with the new doctor. Also, Vastra, Jenny and Strax should definitely have their own spin off, they are hilarious.
Really satisfying series finale, but I'm so sad that there will be no more episodes to look forward to. Farewell Orphan Black, you will be missed dearly.
