This episode truly said gay rights
I love that this movie accurately showed what feels like to be gay, in love and in the closet during high school.
Even though, there wasn’t much of a storyline or plot, the movie was still enjoyable.
Both Rachel's did an amazing job portraying their characters and their romance is simply beautiful, however I was expecting a bit more. After reading the book, I was a bit disappointing with the fact that it was mostly focused on the religion rather than their relationship. Even though the movie focused a lot more in the relationship, I was really unsatisfied that they kept the endings very similar. In the book Dovid, offers Esti her freedom without her asking for it, however she decides to stay with him because of their unborn child. Ronit goes back to New York and ends up with a man. In the movie, Esti asks for her freedom, which she gets, but still ends up staying back in England rather than going with Ronit to New York.
These characters have been in love since early teens and people have tried to separate them since then. I truly believe that they deserved an happy ending where they would stay together.
This movie was heartwarming. I don't think I've ever cried so much in a movie and I don't think I've ever felt so well represented.
It was beautifully written and it had an amazing soundtrack. Love, Simon is, hopefully, a step forward in the process of normalising homosexuality. I hope it helps educating people that are not familiar with this subject and that don't understand the pain that most people within the LGBT community go through during the process of coming out. So please, go watch it, support it and give the love it deserves because who knows how many lives this movie can save, literally.
Even though this season wasn’t as good as the first one, I feel like it was good to have an insight to Jessica’s past. I did feel like they screwed up Trish and some scenes were poorly written, but I still enjoyed this season.
Truly an amazing and inspiring movie. I must confess it left me in tears in the end, when the stylist said to Billie Jean “one day we will be free to be who we are and love who we want.”
The movie was not as bad as the critics are making it look. Out of all, what I liked the least was possibly The Flash and the actual graphics, which you could see that the movie had been filmed with a green screen.
I felt like Ezra Miller portrayed a very childish Barry Allen, which I hated and thought he had too many forced and inconvenient jokes and, also, unnecessary moments.
I've noticed that people have been saying that Wonder Woman/Diana was overly sexualised in the movie, which I do agree. I felt like some of the progress that was made in the Wonder Woman movie had been lost and, honestly, I don't understand how Gal Gadot accepted to wear some of those clothes. However, I also felt like they also overly sexualised the male superheroes in some scenes.
Overall, I feel like if they find a way to improve some of the bad bits, they do have an amazing potential for the sequels. If you were paying close attention to the movie, you noticed how they hinted small things, like Barry saying how he knew Gorilla Sign Language (Grodd) or when Alfred was talking with Bruce and he mentioned Penguins, which gave me a hint that maybe we will be meeting Penguin soon and after, the 2nd post-credit scene, I started to think that maybe those will be two of the villains that will be in the league that Lex is creating.
This was probably one of the most touching episodes of the whole show. I was really looking forward to know more about Maggie's back story and I loved how well it all came out. However, some of the scenes that took place in Mars were terribly shot and edited and they looked as if they were shot by an amateur.
I'm usually not a fan of Horror movies, but I had to watch this one due to all the hype. It made me jump, it made me cover my eyes and it almost made me scream in some parts but it was worth it. Amazing performances from all the actors, amazing soundtrack and an incredible scenography!
I've watched this movie more than 5 times and I cried in every single one of them. It is beautiful, amazing, inspirational and with a great message! Definitely a solid 10!
