I was ok with it all, then the last 3 minutes I was balling damn this show, haha
just getting too frustrating. Alice ignoring all the obvious signs, repeatedly putting herself in danger...like why not drive to Lulu's instead of her own place. And Twig can't leave things in a message. why TF not? A simple text "Charlie's alive, June is dying, call when you're ready". Bet she'd call pretty quick.
As heartbreaking as this show is, it's a damned good watch, and I'm thoroughly entertained.
We've not had the reveal yet, but I suspect June's "Robin Hood" was a robber of virtue, and he took much of her ability to trust when he raped her, and again when Clem cut her out of his life, and again when he turned out to be an abuser like his father.
Understandably, her trauma feels like justification for her decisions, but it would be a gross understatement to call it problematic to make decisions for someone else without their knowledge or consent.
Thorns and weeds amidst the flowers. Hopefully, it will be a cathartic conclusion.
I'll be repetitive but I'll say it again, there is no series in history with dialogue as well written and logically staged as Succession.
am I the only one who thought in the beginning that Logan dying was a ploy to somehow fuck over the kids again :upside_down:
……nah it was just me & maybe I ended up caring for the bastard in the end (help)
"It would seem that some agents of law enforcement are raiding the premises right now—so if you see them, then that’s what that is.”
FFS. Anytime Kendall becomes even remotely likeable, he wrecks it by trying to be the coolest guy in the room. Every single time.
I think somehow Logan knew or expects this from Ken. He said Kendall lacks killer instinct but he adds that maybe nowadays you don't need that. He should have thought that telling him he lacks that instinct results as Ken killing him and halfway through the conversation he explains maybe you don't need that instinct. I think Logan knew he f*cked himself. And in the end we can see a little bit proud in his eyes. And maybe he thinks deep inside if one of my own replaces me that one really should kill me for it.
big budget Arrested Development is actually very fucking good!!!! :clap_tone2::clap_tone2::clap_tone2::clap_tone2::clap_tone2:
After every episode there is a different person who I consider to be the worst one of the family.
Snowballing. That's the sexual act that Tom performed .. :)
Kinda weird how an air-gapped laptop can wirelessly print, don't you think?
omfg he is not badass and if I hear about his wack ass dad taught me how to survive shit is sooooo corny
Why can’t they get away or hide in the forest. After all Michons knows the way to Wakanda. They can find sanctuary there.
This humor is as dry as the Sahara and that's just how Iike it xD
Boring. Convoluted. Aimless. Could be beyond saving very soon.
Maybe my expectations were too high after looking at the reviews, but so far this show doesn't do a lot for me. I caught myself being bored for some time in all of the three episodes. Maybe I have to get used to the really slow pace of this show. Will continue watching.
Ok we said we liked the chos in the kitchen in the first season. But non stop family chit chat is not interesting at all. It was nice to see relations but %50 percent chitchat was unecessary
Why would they bring back Jimmy? It was a great ending story for his character last season, and now seeing him in the last episode/mid-season finale is unnecessary and I'm not really interested in him anymore. He's one cowboy man now and that's it.
I expected it the whole time.
We have to go back, Kate! We have to go back!!!
The whole Kayce thing was unnecessary and kind of boring. And the way they make Jamie a total coward and a pussy is stupid
This too early to have a filler episode. Waste of an hour. Watch the first 5 mins and last 5 mins. Rest has zero value to story progression.
Am I the only one that has no idea what the hell they are doing on the rodeo horses. I don’t get it.
So far, I’m not digging the new season. It's just very weird, starting with the fact all family members survived attacks that should have killed them.
It seems like this episode nothing really happened other than Jimmy left. But I couldn't care less about him, he’s always been a useless character.
I'm getting so tired of Monica. Has there been a single episode in 4 seasons where she hasn’t just been sad and whiny? Her and Tate's PTSD would sure have impacted me more if I could have seen it develop on screen.
I don’t like the Carter storyline. Beth and Rip are supposed to be the adults in this situation but the two are so physically rough with the kid. It's very overdone and unnecessary. Also, Beth’s character is so poorly written and cringe. I feel like she has turned into the writer’s highlight reel for one-liners that aren’t quite as needed or clever as they think.
I really wish they would cut out the horse spinning, because it's boring and just take time from the actual show. There was never that much footage of the horses in previous seasons.
Although they have returned to the classic format, the things that count do not finish me to convince, to see if it improves
Absolutely stuck the landing.
What a great series.
