How can people want Dexter to get away with murder after this?
Oh my god... poor Debra... no.... I can't believe she did that
Doakes was so fu*king annoying. I'm so happy he died.I swear the few seconds of him we got this episode gave me PTSD of how much I hated him.
WTF this dude was in the bus without the fire suit......
Wtf his dark passenger this shit ex came up with that did they forget it xD
Its no the same as the first seasons, they make even many little mistakes...
Lol he did not meet the code :/
And the first episode from this season was so good :(
The problem with this movie is that it is just a basic revenge movie that could have been done without the character of Rambo and it would have been all the same. It doesn't have a hidden anti-war message, no real link to the reality of a veteran's PTSD nor the over the top one-man army meme that Rambo is known for.
I haven't read/seen anything about this movie before watching and I was expecting to see Rambo doing what Rambo does the best - many, many, many violent kills. But I wasn't expecting the story to be around the horrible sex trafficking industry, a pretty harsh subject.
Sadly, it just doesn't fit well with the character of Rambo, yeah yeah we see him having difficulty to handle the accidental deaths at the start of the movie but beside that, there's no hard link to the back-story of Rambo, the Viêt-Nam vet suffering from PTSD and turned into a one-man army just turn into a basic revenge flick. Moreover, I was happy to see him go back to the old traps and spikes so those assholes get the painful death they deserves for all those innocent life they destroyed just to see Rambo quickly end their life after being impaled. What's the purpose of the traps then? He said himself that he wanted them to suffer, just to mercifully kill them.
Anyway, I just spent the last 15 minutes trying to see the meaning of this movie for the character of Rambo and I'm just losing my time.
TL;DR: The movie's title is clickbait at best. The movie would have been the same without Rambo and there's no links to First Blood beside wood spikes traps.
an insult to the movie going public, sadly 1 is as low as I can rate it.
The story beats are as basic as i don't know what, the ending is laughably predictable and the performances barely passable. Seen strictly as a revenge movie however, it's immensely satisfying. It's Home Alone for grown ups.
The fact that it's quite gory doesn't hurt either.
Yeah like how Deb now act with Dexter much better (understanding)
The scene where Deb tells Angel Batista to back off was just brilliant. Angel's reaction & that deep look of betrayal in his eyes.. damn that guy can act!
Great movie. Andy Serkis played his role as Ceasar perfectly.
The computer animated apes look really amazing! I forgot a few times that they were computer animated, they looked so real. But according to a few sources no real apes where used in the movie because Rupert Wyatt (the director) wanted to show humanity's mistreatment and abuse of captive apes. Apes are the heroes of this movie, and humans are the villains. And Rupert Wyatt said he couldn't imagine a worse way of undercutting that message than by using real apes in the movie's production.
Malcolm we need to cook!
So far I watched countless episodes and series. Never watched something more than once. Except Rick and Morty... Starting my third rewatch right now :D, it is that good! But I can imagine it is not for everyone ;).
It's hard to believe how well this was put together at times. I'd say the first 10 episodes are definitely the best, after that the story line has reached a point where it's less exciting. That doesn't mean the rest of it is bad though, not at all.
One thing that striked me is that there were often tensions moments when Light get's interrogated. Ever time when it seems like he's getting caught he comes up with another waterproof lie/alibi to trow off any suspicion. Which is what I meant by the first sentence.
I actually got a Death Note book as a gift after I finished the series :)
I would have given it 10/10 if they completed the last scene.
Beside the acting I can't find nothing special about this movie. Yes, the story is interesting but the movie moves so slowly that in the end it felt like a five hour piece.
Good but not great. Marky Mark has made loads of cash playing the same character in 39 movies (which is basically playing himself). A good time passer.
Only three episodes in and it's already my favorite American animated series. Robert Kirkman is a genius. I absolutely LOVED the comic book series. Can't wait to see what subtle changes this has in store. Lets Go!!
They completely nailed the look, feel and vibe of the games and it's fucking amazing.
Honestly I really liked the look of this trailer until mcgregor came on the screen
Wow, this series has everything to become better and better. Very well structured story, in addition to the excellent CGI and script.
