Really nailing its tone by this point. It blends family drama, conspiracy mystery, supernatural affairs, and wacky comedy without any of it feeling out of place
Sir. Sir. No matter how good looking, tall and charming you are, it's simply not appropriate for you to go around putting your fingers on other people's lips. No matter your off-the-charts cuteness, you should still respect your coworker's personal bubble.
Given that this drama is kinda presented like a noona drama, I expected the age difference between Song Ah and Hyun Seung to be bigger. A one year difference in age doesn't seem that big of a deal. I expected five at the very least, ten if they really wanted to push it. Based solely on this episode, I'd think his age is not the reason why she'd want to keep him at arms length, but rather how presumptuous he can sometimes be.
The thing is, I don't think he's doing this (by this I mean revealing that Song Ah's boyfriend is marrying someone else) for her, but for himself, and that's what makes his behavior scummy.
headcanon: kamala has adhd, there's no way that fool is neurotypical
Thank you very much for Episode 6. Our grandfather never received the respect and honour he deserves as a WW2 veteran, he and many other veterans like him, were denied the benefits, financial support, respect, and honour when they continued on with their lives.
Institutions, politicians, and governments, only paid lip service and delayed the bills that could have given them proper support. Yes, the bills eventually became laws but only after most of the veterans already passed away. They wouldn't even give posthumous awards, promotions, and/or recognition.
Thank you very much for Episode 6. It may be dedicated for the Korean War veterans, but it resonates very powerfully with all war veterans in all countries, if not for them, majority of us wouldn't be enjoying the life we have today.

I just finished watching a 7-hour-long movie... But at what cost?
Look if this doesn't end up as some sort of dark rom-com, I will riot! You already cancel Santa Clarita Diet, Netlifx, the least you can do is to stop being a coward and a pussy and to make this into a dark rom-com
Why does she run with what I'd expect being either her smart phone or some other smart object, and then try and remember a license plate as if it were the 90s? Just make a gd note.
yeah this is pretty good ! Some backstory, and you gotta love Robin in this one
That last scene got me shook xD
So happy Liza finally got her shit togheter and started to look at the right man for her!
This season is so good
OMG! Yes! You gotta love a man who knows what he wants!
Ugh. They went there with the whole Kelsey/Josh thing. Massive eyeroll.
But I can't even be mad because Liza and Charles kissed not once, but twice this episode y'all! (and I don't even care that one of those times was a dream). I'm flailing in happiness after that last phone convo! Yaass!!
LOL. “...can you believe 3 Luthor’s in the Oval Office...only in America...” hahahah. That’s exactly what trump must’ve said the first day in the Oval Office.
look i really was about to cry, that scene with kara fighting red daughter and alex remembering everything was really beautiful and then alex crying over kara almost dying. but "TAKE THE GRASS"? that was dumb. i'm sorry.
also. brainy? what's going on? jesse rath is an amazing actor, holy smokes, but what. brainy can't do this.
Now this is an episode on racism and other types of prejudice done right. The lack of references to any specific groups allows the viewer to measure the ideas against the facts about the world that they know, be it personal stories or general information. As long as the alt-right are getting support and Trump is president, episodes like this one are needed and timely. I also felt like the part about Nia being afraid to "make waves" could be interpreted as a reference to trans people being so concerned about passing that they would rather keep their heads down, although it is only apparent to those who know about the actress being trans.
Woahhh get it girl! I can't believe she went for it and that April felt the same!
Also side note that teacher reminds me so much of Caitlin Reilly. Makes me laugh every time
This is a great show. Something different that you normally don't watch (at least I don't). Loved every episode. The musical score is amazing (I got the soundtrack, amazing). Great character development. Great filming locations. Great acting. Plus it's only 6 episodes long.
I would recommend watching this show (ignore all the negative reviews).
I hope Netflix picks up more shows like this.
This movie isn't as bad as everyone made it to be. It's so much better than Fantastic Four and you're an idiot if you even think of comparing them to each other.
god it's probably just me but i really thought that sierra and veronica were gonna completely forget about jamey and get together by the end of the movie
I can see why they're pacing the series, why new characters are necessary, newer villains, etc. but it's not intriguing. it's lifeless. The show could have an episode dealing with paper cuts and having to find toilet paper over 35 minutes, fans would still watch it with anticipation.
I can see the writers and directors trying to replay /recycle new antiheroes and heroes learning the ropes, facing enemies, but it's just not fun to watch Noah Bennett run around doing his thing.
It should be, it fails to live up to the hype because they're afraid of delivering too much too early. When Noah isn't on screen, the show fails to be interesting.
There's no charismatic personalities other than maybe luke/zachary (unrecognisable as chuck, or johnny flame), and even more rarely miko/kiki (katana girl) is emotive or likeable beyond the wooden, stereotyped doll caricature. There's no tension or loss, no risk, no reward, and there's no confluence of ordinary characters with abilities. Hiro and Claire, and later, Sylar, were iconic because they were normal, with abilities. Not so much with the new class.
The show's desperately trying to get the audience to like ... someone, but there's too much mary sue, nobody has failed in a big way, and the season arc is disconnected from the plot in a massive way, there's no fatality or risk in the deus ex machina, already depicted in the poster (avoiding spoilers)
The ensemble cast are "good", but this would get better if it did not exist in the same story as Heroes, it's significantly weaker and less enjoyable as a result of being dragged around by the coattails of the original ensemble of Heroes, that haven't shown up but keep getting name-dropped every few minutes.
This could change, but the show should be so much better or even possibly darker than it is.
Funny that the returning word in the episode titles is "Woe", which is the common abbreviation of "Woensdag", the dutch word for "Wednesday".
As someone who doesn't read the manga or watch the anime, this first introduction to the series has convinced me to check more of the story out. I'm excited to dive deeper into One Piece, and I'm looking forward to any future seasons of the show!
The acting in this show is atrocious.
Well they knocked this out of the bleeping park.
Are you gonna shoot it or get it pregnant :joy:
As an uncultured gay, it pains me to admit that I have not read the novel and I have nothing to compare this adaptation to, but my own expectations and this movie totally meets them. The chemistry between the two leads, the back and forth banter, the well-portrayed and sensual sex scenes; it is a 10 out of 10 recommendation.
Loving the Mike and Will angst
Holy shit those last five minutes. And ugh, Hogarth.
