Dear Savitar. Please kill everyone, maybe except Caitlin and Cisco. Thank you.
I don't even know where to start. I really was expecting a much better ending for a series that started good and went down the hills three seasons later, first, because somehow I had kept seeing it, and second, because I guess many people had kept seeing it, and for that they should've worked harder to give us a better finale. But this was awful, like they just write the whole finale an hour before they shooting it, with such a corny ending, with such ridiculous speech and the revive of a character, and Pope, and why is Ben alive?, and that was the Queen they were to be scared? a bloodsucking alien?. I can say too many more things but I don't wanna waste more time with this serie.
What the hell? The past 2 seasons have not been very good, but this finale really did suck.
So, the Espheni had spaceships and stuff to invade the earth but were overpowered by spears?
And gg wp to Pope, was 80% dead, manage to get himself to DC just to die looking at his enemy.
Ignoring the 'one of the bloodiest battles' where we only see 2 guys dying and one of them kinda committed suicide, the woman that had a alien children and experienced hell died from a shrapnel? (np, was only dead for a couple of minutes) and not explaining what happened to Ben, everything Espheni died, Ben had the spikes but was just fine. It has an overall ok-ish show with an awful finale.
This is how you end a story with style!
Boring, predictable and... goddamn awful. In what could have been an interesting episode despite the once again obvious parallels to what we once called "Real Life" this completely, but not unexpectedly, missed the ball.
A hole in one? Nope, not by a long shot Mister Peele. On the contrary... Cause like said in the episode "that's not how it works". You can't just make something "topical" and expect it to be good... There needs to be effort and talent. Again... the subliminal message in this show swings both sides but all I'm seeing is a preacher whose preaching to the choir even though he's being sucked off in the process. "Cause Jeebus he knows me, and he knows I'm right. I've been talking to Jeebus all my life."
I'm starting to think we are living in the Twilight Zone cause if this drek is considered good I don't see how it possibly can't be true.
Inside I feel a bit like I'm in the first few seconds of a moment when an anxiety attack occurs... It's not quite there yet, and it can go away but it's gonna hit if you don't stop thinking of it. The fear will overwhelm you and the dominoes will fall... I'm reading reviews and there are actually people who defend and like this stuff... Liking it to the best episodes Sterling ever made. Propaganda anno 2019. If it weren't just "entertainment" it'd be scary... Domino.
Awesome season finale. (via TVShow for WP)
Flash was so awesome in S1, now is just boring. The crazy thing is that Arrow is having a great season 5 and its currently better than Flash. The whole melodrama thing is what destroy shows. Take notes writers!
"I don't care how you do it. I don't care if it makes any sense. In fact, there's pretty much no way to give me what I want and have it make sense. Just make sure that these things happen in this week's script because we need to set the table quickly." -- Head writer to the poor sap who was tasked with scripting this soapy mess
