First season was amazing and I loved it !
This second season was slow from the start and had to force myself to go on watching it.
I was hoping that it would get better...well, made it to the end and it was boring !
Nothing happens, it's way too complicated to stay focused and to understand the too twisted plot.
What a huge disappointment !
I think it was a mistake to show Mary as the werewolf in the final episode. It was much more compelling to simply hear the sounds and see the reactions of the characters. Overall, I think it's worth watching.
The entire season was good, nearly great. It truly felt like Dexter.
That is until the last episode has undone it all:
- Dexter Morgan abandoned the code
- he did not think logically. Could've easily get Harrison to corroborate he delivered him the screw from a stranger
- the ending of the letter felt like a very weak excuse
I wished somebody has told me not to watch the last episode and just imagine an open ending instead.
I'm angry and disappointed.
Season 1 was mildly entertaining, but Season 2 digressed into a wasted opportunity. Could've been a humour-infused portrayal of coming-out during teen years, but instead turned into a homogenized collection of generic gay portrayal. Throw a gay, transgender, and transvestite into a blender to create a single character... sprinkle a lesbian on top, and you have The Real O'Neals. Would like to see Netflix do their version of a similar show ;-)
First season it was ok,
second one booorrrring
just watched now the final episode, didnt understand nothing of that and i was thinking to myself what a waste of my time watching this episodes
if you read this, avoid the second season, and remember the first one.
i'm quite disappointed on how even people waste money producing this :\
Mha,we can save Nygma , Penguin, Cat... but the serial is veeeery veeery bored
This series is dead already, it has got it's final, please, don't ruin more...
This season was... Not good. A mess. Just a mishmash of red herrings and misdirections that mostly didn't pay off in the end. If you're on the fence about watching this season, save yourself some time and annoyance, and DON'T.
Show is okish, it bit overrated. Show was decent till moosa escapes from prison C'mon which hospital will be not secured like that, how come criminal escapes everytime when NHA goes?! Very flawed narration. Comedy works well, casting and production is good!!
I haven't seen this series before but it has good effects and an interesting plot... I liked it
This show continues to decline in terms of story. It feels like it needs wrapping up but seems like there’s plans to drag it out longer. I was just not interested or engaged with this season and went through the motions.
Nowhere near the heights of first season.
The first 3 episodes were excellent, the next 3 were okayish, the last 3 were atrocious.
Some like it, some hate it. I have to say it's the first time I "watched" something like this, and I'm a guy who hates / doesn't get Podcasts.
I really liked this show, it was certainly something different and felt fresh to me. A couple episodes where excellent (especially the first one; that I really loved), some were OKish. Interesting story, not entirely accurate Physics descriptions, but oh, well.
All in all, it's something different. I liked it, I recommend it; let your brain visualize what you are listening to and it will be an immersive experience I think.
I was unsure what to think of this show for the first few episodes. The camera work is weird, and the tone is quite unique - the uses of humour are so peculiar and almost out of place, yet somehow it mostly works. I also really didn't like any of the characters at first.
But by the end of the season, my mind was made up; this show is fantastic. Definitely one of the most unique dramas on TV right now, and I'm excited to keep watching more. The politics and scheming are right up my alley, and the added humour is great too. I also came to start liking a lot of the characters and even feeling bad for those I had previously thought were just straight-up assholes.
Excited to watch season 2.
Entertaining, but really, 10 Emmys?
This show is truly a telenovela product.
A pure telenovela show, where's the love story is a big part of a Latino/Hispanic drama.
The writers think that they're clever by using a lot of historic references and a little bit of pop culture but in reality, it suffers in an unpolished script.
I think that this show could be cut into 10 episodes to finish the first arc of the story and also cut each episode to a minimum of 50mins instead of 70mins runtime. (It's exhausting to watch this unnecessary scenes).
I'm still thinking whether if I continue this series to the 3rd season or dropped it.
This is an absolutely exceptional docuseries, so graphic and eye opening. Everyone should watch this to educate yourselves on why the US especially is in such a terrible situation with this epidemic!
Good show but the slow-burning aspect, pacing issues in the first half, and all the seemingly unnecessary chatter has made it less likable than it could've been..
They lost it......
Oh well, I'm sure season 4 will be the last.
While I do like the fact that this series goes back to 90s and the characters had the same age I had in 93,94,95, and I loved listening to a lot of my favourite songs from my teenage times, the nostalgia part of the movie is not taken very seriously. For sure when Stranger Things gets to theses dates I am going to enjoy it a lot more. The thriller side of the series i have mixed feelings. The time jump is creative but sometimes hard to follow and specially hard to create empathy with the characters. Specially in 1995. They change so much between years that we don’t connect ever with them. Also, while i watched until the end to know what was the secret behind the mistery, but in the final resolution is disappointing. Told to fast, too messy and, really, not what they tell us does not justify all that drama around Jeanette.
I could, and should, have stopped on episode 5 and go to Spotify and listen to the soundtrack instead.
First season was cool. It had a special vibe and the jokes were on point. Here everything seems to be all over the place. Weak season, weak finale...
Like a train wreck, I can't stop watching.
Special. Lynch meets Twilight Zone. Slow pace, excellent camera work.
OK, it's true, it's much less gripping than usual, but come on, you're making it bigger than it is. It's still a beautifully written and acted show, and I kind of liked the slowdown, the setting up stuff for the final season and the dedication to characters and relationships. Plus, when it wanted, it still was emotionally quite strong.
8,1/10 - personal rate for this season
A very thrilling idea but the adaption isn't quite as good as it could be... I therefore stopped watching the series after its first season.
The show tries really hard, maybe too hard - but in the end comes off as amateur, contrived, and unoriginal.
A few too many times I had to cringe.
It's not the fault of the effects or actors (although some are BAD), it's the writing.
Ok this season is a hoax: 2 episode with the story, 3 with a remembering od good old time and one with a honest parody of good old time... Fox are now Hank Moody...
The first season was a total mess: boring boring boring. Good characterized Penguin, Nigma and Cat but without a plot a serial can't be! This second season was very good write a solid plot with a very good hook with comics!
