This was not very good. They don't tell a story. It's like they filmed many scenes and edited them together randomly. You can cut out 5 minutes segments randomly and you wouldn't notice it.
The Seal moment was hilarious.
I kind of think they sharked the jump a little! I think the new actress is not as good as the younger version. Not the same presence. So all this is complicated. Don't know if they should have done a better casting for the older version or cast only one actress for both time periods. There was a huge disconnect in this episode. I'm not as invested as before.
This shows all that is wrong with this new format. The team that had all 3 survived should have won. Not only the last volcano part is uninteresting, it also causes the better team to lose.
The actors are so badly cast. They look like B-List actors. Galadriel for example looks like an average person. Nobody has that special magical look.
This looks incredibly beautiful and pleasant to look at. My only worry is that it seems they have not spent much on casting. Galadriel for example. I wish they had cast someone with a more unique and cinematic look. The actor just looks like your average person.
While there was no doubt Rick was a wonderful producer for George, he was not universally loved by cast and crew.
A lot of people don't like him. I have no idea what the problem is, but I know that. And people close to George have told me that.
Howard Kazanjian, just adorable... and then Rick McCallum.
It's interesting that with the third movie where they finally had full control, so many things went wrong and it was also an unpleasant experience for ILM people.
Also amazing how much they disliked Richard Marquand and didn't think he was fit for the project.

Or one-and-a-half people in charge, there was a lack of focus. There was no sense of the right person being in the right job. George Lucas' hand-picked director had lost the confidence of his cast. Daniels felt very much like, he was dismissed
and ignored by Marquand. It's like this man is a complete fake and the more his "fakerism"... New word, came to the fore, the more pathetically bullying he became. He tried to pick on people. He tried to pick on me. I didn't like that. This was a problem. He was dealing with a director who couldn't direct frankly.
Amazing episode. Things I did not know before.

What a monumental chance and luck they had to achieve this. Exceptional people happen to be at the right time with the right project. People who elevated the project to the next level. Ralph McQuarrie, John Dykstra, John Williams, Ben Burtt, Marcia Lucas. It is such a lucky once in a lifetime chance that at the end of the project, you should be jumping up and down, happy and thanking anything you believe in!
Great series. I have 2 ILM books from 20-30 years ago and it is a nostalgic look to see the same images. It is bittersweet because at the end of episode 2 you still see like Lucas holding a grudge. Like he can't enjoy the moment or be grateful and happy with what he has, what they achieved. The visual effect visionary was John Dykstra and people at ILM who made everything themselves, even the materials. Not Lucas that didn't know what they were doing and who wanted to fire Dykstra.
Man this is so bad. All of it. It's like being in hell but not in a good way!

This should be the best and dreamiest home but again as it is with this series, they don't show the home long enough. There is too much talking people. At least they should cut the talking in half and show the homes more.
This week concept was so bad. To judge 3 teams in one. The clear winner should have been the heaven and hell mini golf which was in the losing side.
They ruined season 2 with the volcano section at the end. Already doing the obstacles in the first segment is interesting enough. We don't need the last segment. The second 3 people who all survived should have won the game. The group that performs better in the first segment should win.
That was totally unfair not to show the obstacles to everyone. In the first episode, they clearly mentioned what they should expect and do. In this also they should have. Showing it to the one team only was like cheating. So I wasn't totally thrilled when they won.
It's getting annoying that they go out of their way not to show any reconstructed scenes. We need them even for few seconds and from behind the scenes. Not saying they should show the movie scenes from the camera's POV. Is this a copyright issue they are not showing anything?
Was this an actual real episode? It felt like fan service with no substance and too soon. Was Vader playing and making sure that Obi-Wan could appear in the movie Star Wars (1977)?!
I enjoyed the second episode more than the first one. The interaction between Obi-Wan and Leia was fun.
I felt the colors were too washed out. In their other series, the sand has a warm yellow color. Here not, the sky also not blue. I just don't get it why they didn't make it more vivid. I wanted more colors.
This episode was so painful to watch and not in a good way! The drama over the kids going to live with the grandpa was a non-issue and they played it like a big life and death situation.
First, they are big, close to being adults, they can come and go. It’s not a big deal, they are not going to war.
Second, wouldn’t the parents be happy that they are away from trouble? They can be away in a safe place until they can deal with their current troubles. Nothing made sense in this.
Unbelievable. The guy did not win. He cheated. He has absolutely no right to add fake stuff to the real food.
One of my pet peeves is when they use hallucination or nightmares. When it's in a way to trick you to think it is real life. It's not clever. Yes, you get shocked for few seconds, but they break everything afterward. Later you don't care if anything happens because you don't know if it's real. And when you realize that it was real, it's too late to feel shocked or anything.
So, when they did that twice in this episode, when the real thing arrived, I didn't care. I remove several stars just because of this.
The rest of the episode was great especially the music.
The Will Smith thing was very funny.

The plot with the wife and children is so boring and annoying. I almost abandoned. It took me 4 years to finish this season.
This season was so bad. Had nothing to do with Space Force. The stories could have happened in any other sitcom. It also seems they had zero budget.
Does this season have more episodes than 7? It kind of ended on a nice space cliffhanger if they follow that story.
