Ok, with this third season, Disney definitely turned an awesome (until mid second season) Star Wars spinoff spaghetti western style, into a ridiculous saga where The child plays the role of Tweety in Silvester the cat. What a shit.
Disappointing. The season starts with 4 characters that all take themselves too seriously in uninteresting situations. Even the music is oddly suspenseful in scenes where not much happens.
I hope we'll get that suspense and mystery from season 1 back in the coming episodes
Am I the only one who thinks it started to drag by the last third?
Another really good episode. I especially liked the scenes with Brother Day. Lee Pace is brilliant in this role.
This was a typical he he, haw haw episode until Oliver suddenly and completely dropped his talk show persona, stared directly into the camera, and sucked all the fucking oxygen out of the room. It stops being a matter of politics or national borders and becomes a matter of actual humanity (do you have a soul within you, or don't you?) when shit like that happens. I admire a comedy that is willing to totally shelf comedy to send a powerful message when it's called for.
Wow Fra Pavel can actually read the alethiometer as fast as Lyra if this pleases the plot
It's good the show is back, I guess.
But in the words of Deadpool "Well…That's just lazy writing"
I miss the James Horner score. Rock music doesn’t work with Willow.
By far the worst host I’ve ever seen in my life. Cringeworthy. Bring back Ricky Gervais!!
wow she's really good at manipulating people :scream: her company was kind of a cult
Not liking where this season is going at all. And please keep Gordo and Tracy away from each other.
this appears to be evidence that chatgpt is writing scripts. something happens, misunderstanding, something else happens etc. There is also a joke that is delivered too late. it's quite an accomplishment - poor timing in an animation
Why does anyone give 2 shits about what happened in Russia. They are a bunch of thugs.
It hasn't been any good since season 1 to be honest, but I'll still miss spending time with some of the players. The less time spent with the tedious Keeley and Rebecca, the better.
And thankfully we won't need to listen to British people saying things they literally never would, for the sake of US audiences. So cringe.
Please, no spin-offs.
This episode had good points and bad points. I am really enjoying the characters and the dialogue. However, the wood women (the two ladies with the axes) felt so out of place. One moment muffin girls is lost in a wet dark forest and the next she is in a pleasant, sunny glade with some very odd ladies. The switch was so extreme I was sure it was a hallucination or evil spell of sometime. After it resolved it just felt like episode filler. Also, the sword combat is just poor in this episode and the way Kit or others are saved just in the nick of time felt forced. It was sad to see Willow's friend died and Warwick Davis really carries to show well. Guess we will see what is in the castle next. Nice cliffhanger and outro cover music.
Good episode. Only little violence. Instead this episode explores a very interesting part of being a narco boss: retirement. As long there are people like the North Valley rep who basically think you are in this for life there's no exit. Thus, all the accumulated wealth becomes meaningless at one point - especially if you're alone in a house that big that you can't remember where the kitchen is. The Colombians are trying to exit and Amado realizes how difficult that will be. But Amado seems to have made his choice - he will try to step down and run away with his Cuban girlfriend. His relationship with pacho - based on mutual respect - is one of the most interesting parts in this show. All the other super masculine machos are constantly showing their homophobia but Amado is different indeed.
Tbh the last 3-4 episodes has been kinda bad, a little disappointed! wanted to see more cool stuff that happen when the order 66 was executed. Feels like a offttrack of a offttrack right now! well still fine tho serie in general but could be much more!
It's not hilarious. It doesn't tell a great story. It's perhaps just the preparation for something bigger to come but if so it starts very sluggishly indeed.
This was definitively the best episode of the season...
The aerial scenes are really good. Shame what transpires on the ground is so bland and uninteresting. No real context. No feel for the command decisions, just airmen soap drama. I wanted to fast forward once the planes hit the deck, and that's no way to watch a show.
Weakest episode of the season. That Covid plot feels like 4 years old. Bruce cameo was wasted.
These specials are the best thing ever! So many games featured, many of which aren't usually shown!
First season was great. Second season more a filler. Hope season three will go „back to the roots“ …
Meh, bit of a buzzkill after such a strong first episode
Oh Stephen, it’s so good to have you back! It’s been over 150 long indictments!!
