Evan Peters plays a crazy, psychotic serial killer a little too well.
I began watching this show and before I had even noticed, I had watched four episodes in a row! I love it when shows do that to you; when they just grab you and won't let go and, hoo-boy, this one definitely does that!
I feel like this a low rent Nashville that makes black people look terrible. The music is mediocre, the story generally lazy and hacky. It's like a show that were it given the attention of an HBO or Showtime might make you feel immersed in, but you're left with seeing how much Terrance Howard and Taraji can carry the series. (edit: Nov 2016 I recently finished watching Power which is a glimpse at what Empire might've been like on a different network) Extra points for making me hate Cookie so much, that's powerful acting or character development.
The relationships are soap opera like, the writing fairly blah and redundant. What could be compelling story lines are wrapped up quickly or ignored all together. It feels like the show can't pick a direction. I don't understand why it's so hyped, it certainly can't be from the song quality, and the superficial glance at the scatter-brained roles each character is supposed to play doesn't endear me to any character in particular. There's way too much TV to compare this to for this to stick out for any other reason than Black-ish does. It caricatures black people and requires zero effort to follow. (Black-ish has laid off the accelerator...a bit)
I remember this unfolding in waco as a kid. the worse part of this is the agents and our government which was responsible for all these events never got in trouble for all those innocent lives that we're lost in this tragedy. shame on all those involved god will judge you.
Are we sure this was from Netflix ? maybe they steal it from another streaming platform. Excellent show.
The last dance is one of the rare documentarys that makes you live the moment. As a fan of the jordan era this is perfect. It goes through all the hard times chicago went through to win the championship.
Wow another show going into 2018 I'm watching that has been cancelled. Just when it jacked up into a another gear to drive the potential ideas that season 3 put forward. Not sure I have much left to watch. FOX canned pretty much all their comedies that weren't animated (if Bob's Burgers went I'd just give up on TV and put on puppet shows on the front lawn in my underwear until I was arrested).
Nothing in the new line up of any of the networks this year is grabbing me at all. Police, police, police, FBI, Doctor, Police.
Reruns it is. :(
Not the greatest spy show of all time but sometimes it's nice to watch something you don't have to think too much about. Iliked it
Very interesting... and yet the blue zones are quickly disappearing.. do people not learn?
The first season as well as the prequel season were down right amazing. The new guy that took over for Andy after his passing (Liam McIntyre) was nowhere near as good of a Spartacus, and I feel the show suffered because of it.
