A Christopher Nolan movie about Albert Einstein's theories of gravity fields, wormholes and several hypotheses :O :O :O
Yaaaahoooooooo - I CAN NOT WAIT!
I love Dexter since years, so I don't want to be too negative here.
But I have to say: I am so f?#*ing disappointed in S6 that I am thinking about to stop watching it till the last remaining episodes have aired - then watch them all in fast motion.
And someone please give Jennifer Carpenter (Debra) a Golden Globe/Emmy/etc. for her outstanding performance in every single episode.
"Best Actress on Television"
So I watched this 2 weeks ago and I'm still stunned by it.
It really deserves to be in IMDb's Top 10!
During the first half I thought "Hmm just as simple as that - this won't be in my top 10".
But then the shoe was on the other foot & then it turned again, and then again, ... and the ending was a bit different as I thought which I really liked :)
I loved the camera work - there were little moments of ego-perspective and sometimes the camera was placed little beside & above an arm holdig a gun pointing at the rival - which was perfect. Considering this was made in 1967 blows my mind - proof what a great director Sergio Leone was!
It's written pretty damn good, even that in the first 10 minutes nobody said a word ^^
It was all just eyes & footsteps, eyes & footsteps :D
It actually felt like a Quentin Tarantino production - I am very certain that his works were inspired by this!
There are just a few movies that didn't let me go afterwards & this is one of them.
I was whistling the soundtrack for days :)
So to all the 186 trakt users who have this on the watchlist I say:
Go for it - it's awesome!
Indeed, totally agree!
So glad I've been to the cinema at this one :)
Have to rewatch it before the dark knight rises in July.
The most beautiful space documentary ever!
I stumbeled over some clips of cosmos on the NationalGeographic YT channel, I got very curious so I did take a look & awwww man - this is one incredible show.
[10/10] It has the most stunning animations 3D and 2D - just a freaking eye candy!
[09/10] The direction & camera work is superb
[09/10] Narration & moderation by Neil deGrasse Tyson is like honey for your ears, I feel like I'm back in kindergarten listening to a history lesson ^_^
[10/10] And the music - awwww man the music ... takes me right back to "Contact (1997)". You know why? Because it's created by the same composer: "Alan Silvestri" the master of "Back to the future", "Predator", "Avengers", ... If you are a soundtrack geek - this is a MUST HEAR!
I was moved, I was inspired, it made me wonder & joyful.
In 1x07 they even put the oil industry in the pillory (on FOX!).
This show is informative, engaging, & literally amazing.
ENJOY!
Oh well … what can I say
"This hospital, huh!?"
There were so many great scenes in here - it's hard to mention all.
BUT there was one scene standing out!
When Rebecca was on the phone talking to the hotel, the focus moves very slowly from Rebecca to the background. While the unsuspecting Rebecca makes her call (in real-time), the background moves in slow-motion.
Then the focus moves back to Rebecca again, now she is calling Miquel, then the focus goes slowly back to the background again, once more in slow motion.
AND THEN … (at 24:55) right before she put the money into the machine YOU CAN HEAR JACK's VOICE CALLING "Beck!?".
Which must have been shortly after Jack had left his body! She even turns around!
DID YOU GUYS NOTICE THAT?
(please share!)
I also LOVED how they did not show Jack's body, but only the reflection of him in the window, together with his wife now realizing the situation. And then these split second shots of younger Jack … Awww man - why are you doing to us!???
Ugh - What a freaking masterpiece!
What can I say … I just love this show!
{Honorable Mention:} GREAT performace by the doctor talking to Rebecca, amongst everybody else on this show!
Quentin Tarantino was so kind to make the soundtrack PUBLIC!
And here it is:

Featuring: James Brown, 2Pac, John Legend, Rick Ross & many more
IMHO this is the best revenge movie ever made.
I mean when Creasy goes after these bastards, one by one - cutting of fingers & blowing of dynamite inside of the kidnappers ass...
How awesome is that???
I still hear that little girl (Pita) scream: "Creeeeeasy".
Really too bad this GREAT director/producer (Tony Scott) died today!
"Touch" fans should know this:

(known as: Fibonacci Sequence, Fibonacci Series, Golden Ratio,'or God's Fingerprint)
Enjoy.
A few good jokes, the rest is just dull stuff - not Sacha Baron Cohen's best work (IMO).
I know what you think & NO it's not just for kids.
This show has exactly everything "The Avengers" 2012 movie has + even more.
It has great humor, sarkasm, of course lots of action and sometimes the camera focus on the curves of female characters like Black Widow or Maria Hill.
The voices are fitting so perfectly it is amazing! Especially the voices of the HULK, Thor and Kang are sooo f great - they coulnd't be better!
The intro (season 1 titel song) is so awesome I am literally singing along with it everytime - I can not resist ;D
And boy these episodes are sooo good, they are absolutely compelling, the 25 minuntes feel easily like 45 minutes, packed with best entertainment.
Honestly, I would like to give the producers and the whole crew a hug for this freaking awesome series!
It's the best Marvel animated stuff I've seen yet.
When I am watching it I feel like I am back in my childhood, constantly thinking "this is so cool", "this is so awesome"...
The characters, dialogs, fighting scenes & just about everything is so f****** creative & with a beautiful amount of detail...
I LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT - every minute of it.
Just watch until the second episode (fight against Gravatar) and if you don't like it - I'll give you 8 bucks each ;)
Legendary!
G, I love this movie.
Here are 15 lessons I learned from Kung Fu Panda 2
01 Never lose your sense of humor.
02 Nightmares are visualizations of your inner fears.
03 We must do, what we are afraid to do.
04 If your heart is filled with hate, it can never be filled with love.
05 Live in the moment. The here and now is the only thing that matters.
06 If you are angry, it doesn't help to release it on a pole or people next to you.
07 The problems we have, are only (reflections) inside our self.
08 If you want to find inner peace, you need to let go.
09 You are yourself your biggest enemy.
10 When you accept your past & accept who you are - you can access your full potential.
11 Anything is possible (if you are in inner peace).
12 Nobody can tell you who you are, you have to discover it for yourself.
13 Revenge can blow up in your face and your victory will be short lived.
14 Everything happens for a reason - even pain will result in meaning (loss of parents -> dragon warrior).
15 Never give up.
Absolutely stunning - this is literally a Thriller!
9 out of 10 stars
Who doesn't love this movie!?
Stephen King rocks!
OMG
Every time I watch this show I cry, and this time I really hit me hard.
Next episode will be devastating.
If you're a child of the 80's, you've to love this show.
Hand who doesn't love the theme song :D
http://youtu.be/7Ym2PaYk2DU
Love this show.
It's a shame it got canceled!
What a GREAT man he was!
I watched this epic movie (which is by the way as old as I am) last night... and it got me thinking.
Isn't it incredible what ONE man can do!?
This little guy, this one man - really made a difference. Not only for his nation, but for generations to come.
If the world recognizes you & what you stood for just by you last name, then you did everything right (or everything wrong - like the guy from "Downfall").
Lincoln, Einstein, Jobs, Schwarzenegger, ... and of course Gandhi is one of the many.
This movie does not only serve as 3 hours of entertainment or as a history lessons, but also as true inspiration.
A reminder to what Ralph Waldo Emerson said:
What lies behind us and what lies before us, are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.”
There... I watched it again.
YEAH - It's that good!
A TV show prequel to Alfred Hitchcock's "Psycho (1960)"
http://trakt.tv/movie/psycho-1960
Looking forward to see this.
I am a member of Trakt since August 25, 2011 & I never posted a single shout here - even though LOST is the holy grail to ME
WHY?
Because there are no words to describe this incredible production (I refuse to call it show, it's way more then that)!
But I will try and write some reviews from time to time - only for the reason I may lead some of "YOU" to give it a shot & hopefully make the same experience as I & millions of others did.
Brace yourself's ;)
THE Best Alien-Attack Movie Of All-Time!
All the new flicks like "Skyline", "Battle L.A." and $#!+ are nothing against Roland Emmerich's work. And it's from 1996 - imagine that...
Anyway I'm really excited about Part 2 comming 2013.
Happy Independence Day everybody ;)
IMO the best combination of action & humor ever made!
A must see inspirational movie!
To me season 2 is even better than season 1.
Constant high quality, great plot & of course amazing cinematography by Martin Scorsese makes B.E. an another epic HBO series!
Another great movie, based on a true story.
If you are a real dog friend, you have to watch this!
Oh WOW!
What an episode :O
Amazing performance by Justin Hartley - just crazy! Moved me to tears several times.
Extremely well written show - a show for the heart with profound dialogues (just like "Little house on
the prairie") and I think this show is becoming one of my favorites <3
Thank you for this great episode!
Looks like a crazy rockstar version of 'Men in Black' :)
After listening to the incredible soundtrack (again) today, I thoght to myself: I've got to watch this!
So finally ... I'll now watch the IMDb TOP 250's No. 5 - which is on my watchlist for years :)
I'll let you know how it was.
Really guys?
I had a good time watching it, because the stooopid dialogs made me laugh so hard!
Seriously I had a sore throat :D
Everything is totally overdriven & its's incredible how predictable the plot is, you can literally tell every minute - except for one thing characters come and go and reappear again out of nowhere... oh boy.
This movie is so bad - it's almost good again. So I have to disagree with the comments below. IMO it's a shame for all the old action heroes.
Sorry Stallone, but this doesn't count as your best work!
