The people complaining about Vanya transitioning to Viktor should probably just stop watching and spare the rest of us. It doesn't take away from the story, the show's literal creator embraced it, why can't that be good enough?
Contrary to some of the other comments on this episode and series in general - by all means bring on season 2 and beyond. This is what Star Trek was and is supposed to be!
The "problem of the week" storytelling is what made TOS and TNG what they were, and I'm glad they stuck to it with this series. Discovery and Picard aside, I'm excited for where we go from here.
I thought for sure that the short season and short episodes would lead to an unsatisfying ending...
I could not have been more wrong. I'll miss this show, I'll miss these characters, I'll miss this ship. Till we meet again Rocinante.
Outro by M83 was an absolutely fitting ending track to this incredible series. Sam Esmail, I think I speak for all of the fans of this show - thank you. Thank you for breaking the mold for just how good a TV show can be. It's been a wild ride...
Bonsoir Elliot.
If Fez doesn't make it through this season I swear I'm gonna lose it
When June saw Rita again, mannnn someone started cutting onions in here. Those traumatic bonds that all of them share with each other, I hope the show goes into that more.
That moment when...
Bonsoir, Elliot.
"Stick it to those bastards Ed"
Molly is my spirit animal :joy:
This is the episode that we'll look back on as one of the best - both in terms of the show itself, and in TV as a whole. The reframing of episodes past, the cinematography, the score, the emotion, everything makes this a 10/10 without question. Awards should be earned for this episode, for Rami and Elliot Villar both.
Yep, I teared up.
Then I teared up some more.
Thennnnnn when Kiki was reunited with her father? Cue the waterworks.
Possibly one of the best episodes so far from this show.
What the hell...
Nooooooo Gates!
Oh man, that ending!
I'm still shipping Ed and Kelly at some point in the future, I don't even care if timelines get ruined in the process.
Literally the biggest mindblowing revelation ever
Welp, think this is it for me, I'm checking out. Adam is pretty insufferable. The "woe is me I killed someone" mentality ruined it. He had the lucidity to throw Rocco's phone into the drink, he ran from the scene, he clearly didn't want to get caught. Oh but now he feels bad and is borderline self sabotaging himself and his father? Please.
I think we can all agree Bob Murray can eat shit.
Alright alright, now I'm totally on board with Dan and Blair. Again, not holding out hope that doesn't go without tons of destruction and hellfire, but I'mma ship it while I can.
Jesus, within the first minute, had me like "Holy fricken crap!"
Welp, my brain is officially scrambled. Great start to a new season though.
And so starts the churn...
After going through this series three times now, this is the one episode that hits me the hardest.
It's going to be another blood-soaked gold rush.
Fairly decent pilot. A lot of your typical suspense/horror tropes. Some sweet vindication for the stuck up mother, which was nice. Expect a certain need to suspend your disbelief, beyond that of a mysterious mist that brings death with it.
That said, I'll keep watching since I loved the movie adaptation.
Man, this actually felt like a real episode of Top Gear. No Shouty McShoutface, which is the real treat. The 'new' trio appears to get along great, the reviews were great, the trip was great. I'm genuinely excited to see how the rest of the season goes.
Rosita looking fine as always.
Damnit not Alma... Ughhhhhhhhhhh, this is gonna be another season that hits us hard in the feels, I can tell already.
"Three wise men. Jesus."
Had me fricken rolling. Why am I enjoying this show?
It was at this point I think I've decided to give up on FTWD. I can deal with suspending my disbelief for the sake of entertainment, but this is getting to be too much. Too many bad decisions, too many things that don't make sense.
Prepare to suspend your disbelief for most of the episode. I like the premise, I like the storytelling. There's just too many convenient happenings that got Naz to where he is.
Not calling 911, running back into the house, keeping the knife, driving bad enough to get pulled over, not kicking Andrea out of the car to begin with, etc.
It just might be too many things for a critical mind to let go of to enjoy the show. I'll continue watching since I like underdog stories, but I'm hoping it gets a lot more believable.
Music from Inception and Mass Effect, oh word? It's getting better, but Evans is still grating, LeBlanc is a little too rigid, but Harris and Reid are awesome. Here's hoping it continues to get better...
Infatuation ended with BECK
Now LOVE is my muse
What even was that music at the end?
