This is it folks, this is peak television. What we have here is one of the most gut wrenching and masterfully crafted episodes ever brought to screen. Absolutely fucking phenomenal with career best performances from Murray Bartlett and Nick Oferman. Holy shit this will stick with me.
Have people not realize yet that this is a low stakes, stand-alone kind of show?
"adds nothing to the MCU". No shit!
Does everything have to be fucking connected? Lighten up, DUDES.
THEY PROMISED ME ZOMBIES AND ALL I HAVE NOW IS DEPRESSION
What a beautiful episode, I don't remember an episode like this for years, very well done, just perfect.
Which version do you prefer? The Game or the Show? I will have to go with the show, its more happy, kinda.
Is it just me or is there something extremely satisfying about that annoying ass director getting slapped continuously?
I loved this season so much. The chemistry between the two leads was off the charts and the yearning nearly killed me. Kate and Anthony have me in a chokehold.
I’m never watching an NBC show again. Literally every show I invest in is canceled on a cliffhanger.
He is in no condition to fuck a sheep.
I want that on a t-shirt.
Dr. Nollette's voice sounded awfully familiar, so I looked him up.
Turns out, he played Dr. Mora in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (the Bajoran scientist who worked with Odo), and Dr. Ma'Bor Jetrel in Star Trek: Voyager (the Haakonian scientist who developed the Metreon Cascade, the weapon that was used to destroy Neelix's home planet). Now I know why I didn't recognize the face: It's the first time I've seen James Sloyan perform without alien prosthetic makeup!
I can picture the people on this site reviewing the first episode of Lost. “They better tell us by the second episode what is special about the island and what the monster is. Or I am outta here!”
The show is a mystery for a reason. Plus one monster being killed does count as the show moving forward a little bit.
Best episode so far had so many feels
That K.E.V.I.N part was brilliant and on point
why is everyone hating on this finale???? i think this is the most fun watching experience since wandavision era
You don’t have to wait for the after credits it just says Loki will return in season 2
I'm kind of disappointed yeah, but this is simply because Marvel fans (myself included) hyped every single frame up so much - we came up with a gazillion of theories every week and expected other Marvel heroes/villains to show up at any moment. This is a show about a woman dealing with loss and having to come to terms with her grief and moving on. This was a perfect wrap up to that story. Yes, it's set in the MCU so there needs to be that element - which there was, with SWORD and Agatha - but no one was owed Fox Quicksilver or a Dr. Strange cameo or the Hex making mutants or Mephisto. We should know there wasn't going to be big reveals and much development of the overall storyline of the MCU when that's destined to happen in the movies.
"We need this scanned and sent to everyone on that list"
In French, this line is " Je vais appeler Internet et leur demander de me faxer la liste des numéros de toutes ces femmes"
which means "I'm gonna call Internet and ask them to fax the list of phonenumbers of these women to me" X)
The dubbing team was clearly having a bad time understanding how Internet worked at the time.
But since this line was digged up, became kind of a joke in France ^^
I really liked the last 15 minutes, but man... what a slog. Also, strobe lights need to be illegal lmao.
@Leon Feng - Well, it kind of WAS a personal vendetta, not against ONE individual, but the ENTIRE party, even the WORLD as she had experienced it up to that time. When the girl who had killed her father showed no remorse or repentance for her evil act, instead bemoaning her fate and the loss of her arm, it pretty much confirmed her already fomenting opinion that her world was irredeemable. Thus, even after receiving the interstellar warning NOT to reply or answer because "they" would come and destroy civilization as she knew it, she replies with outstretched arms, telling the unidentified being that she will help them. Perhaps psychologically self immolating, but, also taking the rest of HER society with her, as she has no hope or care for the rest of humanity, due to her own unresolved trauma. Kind of like the modern application of ""Caedite eos. Novit enim Dominus qui sunt eius.", more commonly translated as "Kill em' all, Let God sort them out!".
A much better episode. Lot's of emotion, and I'm pleased to see the MADDIE case resolved with a positive outcome. :thumbsup_tone1:
Man, rest in peace Lance, a great choice to play Zeus, he will be missed
An okay episode, not the best. SVU seems to have lost it's way a little. Simple case easily resolved, but too much side drama for my liking. This Maddie abduction needs to be brought to a conclusion soon.
The writing has been really up and down this season. It looks like the writers strike has had an impact on the show
I'm really liking this show (I think I've said it every week/every review). It's just enjoyable easy watching. I'd gladly watch another season of this.
MOTHERFUCKER
– mrw watching another lindelof masterpiece
this was literally so cute WHY AM I EMOTIONAL I LOVE RONALD SM
I'm starting to think that Kido isn't a nice person.
I believe Victor knows more than he wants to share. He is still that scared little boy that his mother left in the cellar many years ago.
