Wow that was a surprise. It is very rare that I get surprised, you can usually see the outcome miles away. Still one little thing I don't understand, why was Shane lurking in and around Maya's house? He seemed certainly surprised that Maya had killed Joe so he wasn't already suspecting her. Was he just looking out for her then?
Actually 2 episodes, 22-23 minutes each.
- 1 The Gentleman
- 2 Squirm
For those who don't like the time skip - that's exactly what happened in the books.
It's supposed to be this way and I'm super excited it finally happened.
Great episode. I really hope Fox renews the show. Especially since I think there’s just 3 books. 3 seasons won’t hurt.
If they can continue Lethal Weapon with no Riggs. Then renew the Passage.
Asriel is a creep too like Mrs Coulter? WTF?
Looking forward to the next episode.
The "fixer" is such a badass, pretty good episode. Hope to see more of her. I like her for Bull.
People just like to throw everything 1’s on here. The late Robert Forster (Jackie Brown) looks pretty well despite this being one of his last roles. So it’s hard to believe he died after filming this.
Anyway, the late fine actor shines here. This episode captures the wonder of the original series. Even more so than the first episode. The second one was just too in your face woke. Plus, realizing you’re gay and in love with your late best friend can bring them back to life ?
This episode at least reminded me of the show I grew up with. It’s a nice episode about a boy bonding with his grandfather over their love for comics and superheroes.
why wouldnt debbie just call the police ???? taking her baby is literally kidnapping what the fuck
p.s. kevin is da man
Just 25 minutes in and I think Westworld could be the next Battlestar Galactica. It's more dark than the movie from the 70's. Just not sure why the engineers don't see all the crazy shit Ed Harris has been up to though. If they are always watching the robots.
Still, as a fan of the original movie, this show is pretty kick ass and I can't wait for more. The movie is pretty outdated and this show makes a great insanely awesome update. Even if all of it doesn't make complete sense so far.
I hope “our” Jason and Amanda are in another (third) universe, because it would be hard to explain why the box connects only two specific universes.
Oh wow, they're really throwing us in the deep end right from the get-go.
Loved the first episode and here comes this one making it even better!! The jumps back in time really add dimension to the characters and explain so much as to the motivations of the original team. Can't wait to find out more!!
The season has gotten much better since the first episode of season 2. I actually loved this one. Ainsley being underused after the season 1 finale. Is disappointing though.
I don’t think she was in this episode at all.
This is definitely one of those series where the first season may have been a little lackluster, but it sets up events for the second season perfectly. This first episode leads me to believe that we’re in for a wild ride this season.
I love the characters, the plot and even find the ending acceptable, now I’m just hoping Ryan Murphy doesn’t ruin it with season 2.
I really loved the finale. People think the ending came out of left field, but this was also the girl who in my opinion took pleasure in her boy toy camera guy getting stabbed and filmed her dad doing surgery on him. It was a whole "your not quite right in the head" moment that she thoroughly enjoyed. The shit was cold as hell.
If there was something to dislike it was Martin forgetting he had balls when Nicholas had him moved to Rikers and was acting all scared. I get there's a bounty on his head, but it's clear Martin is a rather clever man.
This was an exceptional finale. The twist did come out of nowhere, but I don't think it was an asspull without any foreshadowing. I mean, as I said, it did come out of nowhere, but I think hating it and calling it an asspull is unnecessary. Foreshadowing it would've ruined it. But I guess some people would prefer twists to be foreshadowed, for some odd reason. Plus, it's not like she did it and didn't react after she did it. She simply did it out of desperation without an active frame of mind, which is why she acted and reacted the way she did after the fact. I don't see the issue with that and how it came out of nowhere with no indication. Regardless, I enjoyed it. And I believe the ending opened up a door for new possibilities for a very interesting second season, which I hope will come to fruition.
I've been thinking this for a while now, but, are we sure Richie is dead? Or is that assumed cause he was never found?
I bet Sophie Sanders is still alive. Maybe she was almost killed and escaped, or Martin let her go. Yes, I'm holding on to the assumption that she isn't dead. I'm going to need more definite proof that she is truly dead. I'm interested to see how Malcolm and Martin's next encounter will go with this new information. I've been refraining from watching promos for this show, and any show, so I don't know whether their next encounter will have a bigger significance than usual, and rightfully so, in the next episode, but I imagine that will be the case.
DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..................................
a show this good ALWAYS get cancelled, lets hope the execs don't have their collective heads up their assess
The way I'm understanding things is this: those that have prions in their DNA are infected with the virus and those that have the predator gene, whatever it's called (I forget), end up transforming. Did I get that right? Also, wow. Three major(ish) deaths? I wasn't expecting that. Honestly, I couldn't care less about Kaylee and Jergen, they're the most uninteresting characters I've ever had the misfortune of witnessing. Good riddance that he's dead. Teresa, I didn't care about, either. Bobby, on the other hand, was a fun character to watch. Must be a charm of sorts that Greg Bryk has. His death was somewhat impactful. He'll be missed.
Okay, I'll admit it. This show is getting pretty good. It's probably even the one I'm looking forward to the most each week out of all the on-going shows I'm watching. And I don't know whether it's the pacing, editing, or what, but I can't seem to involve myself mentally when I'm watching it most of the time like I can and have with other on-going shows. It's certainly a weird, unexplainable feeling to have combined with the fact that I'm looking forward to every week with a new episode. Maybe I always chose a time where I was mentally exhausted, not knowing it, to watch each new episode. With that said, this episode: one of the best ones so far. Even though it's already the least memorable one aside from a couple of moments that I can still recall.
They speak a lot of French in this show so I went and got Eng subtitles - thought I'd share https://translatesubtitles.com/browse_subtitle.php
I think it would be cool if Piper's an alien, not a government experiment, and the people after her are aliens too. The government is probably involved in some way, still.
This was one of the better episodes so far. Still, I think the actress playing Isobel is doing a poor job.
I really hope Nate & Bonnie pay somehow for this
A lot of good actors are in this. Damien Dahrk from Arrow, Enzo from TVD, Ksenia Solo from Lost Girl, and Nina from Alphas. Sort of makes me miss Manhattan, though.
First episode was better than I was expecting. There's a bit of an X-Files vibe going on.
I don't think that Maddox is bonnie's son since i don't recall HTGAWM staff being too obvious? lol could he be laurel's step-brother?
as for the one who died at the wedding is probably Nate or Miller or ....
the only question that annoys me to death is WHAT HAPPENED TO LAUREL'S MOTHER???? why is no one asking where is she? if she's alive or dead? again this season is so full of questions that need to be answered lol
