Wow that was a surprise. It is very rare that I get surprised, you can usually see the outcome miles away. Still one little thing I don't understand, why was Shane lurking in and around Maya's house? He seemed certainly surprised that Maya had killed Joe so he wasn't already suspecting her. Was he just looking out for her then?
Starts off amazing for first 5 eps. When Ali died, the show lost its way a little. I’m also not sure point of the body organ subplot. Didn’t really lead to anything.
I’d also have rearranged the final scenes: have G sad and despondent, but also let him do charity stuff for Sang Woo’s mum etc. THEN let him not touch his own money for a year, as that still conveys his guilt and hopelessness. It still works. Otherwise, Seems bit weird and pathetic in order we got it in on the show. I get he was sad that his mom died, but bumming around for a year after seems quite a leap.
Lastly, did they really fly in the VIPS just to watch two games? A cool bridge one, and then what’s basically a cheap playground game of hopscotch? I think they should have come in earlier on the show.
:heart:x7
Honestly, I did not expect a whole lot from this movie. Eddie Murphy hasn't been that watchable in quite some time (that could just be me though). However, this movie turned out to be pretty funny.
Madison Thomas (Holly), kind of stole most of the scenes she was in.
Overall, this is a worthwhile, entertaining Christmas movie.
How I rate:
1-3  = seriously! don't waste your time
4-6  = you may or may not enjoy this
7-8  = I expect you will like this too
9-10  = movies and TV shows I really love!
This show shouldn't be allowed to use the Marvel Studios intro.
This is something different. Scarlett Witch is one of my preferred MCU characters since she showed up in Age of Ultron but this show has nothing to do with it. I know in this episode there is some reference to AoU and his brother but it is taking too much time to get there. Elizabeth's acting is extraordinary but I don't like the path phase four is taking. If upcoming Loki, She Hulk and The Falcon and the Winter soldier will follow the same path of this show, differing from canon we are used to, I think it will not be good for future Marvel Cinematic Universe Films.
This kind of experimenting can bring to you (Disney) new audience but I can assure that you are really getting upset old and loyal fans. You should evaluate if the new audience will end up in cinemas paying to watch movies or will pay extra for them on Disney+ (as you already did with Mulan).
Three episodes to show that we are in some kind simulation is not tolerable.
From me this is the third 1/10 in a row. Probably it's time to give up the show and read the plot sometime on Wikipedia.
The mystery into the seasons bad guy was decent. It was never clear who was going to be exposed and right when I thought I knew who, they had very good diversions but it was always the same 4 people since the beginning.
I’m kind of sad to see Weems gone. I love Gwendoline Christie but this is a supernatural show they can find a way for her to reappear I almost thought she was going to show up when Enid and Wednesday were in her office. Speaking of Enid she totally kicked ass and i love to see it.
I expect to see Ricci back as an escaped prisoner to find another way to take down Wednesday and the outcast.
And most interesting what is the deal with Bianca and her mother? Need an answer in S2 or as Netflix will probably do, part 2.
This episode of Ahsoka was recorded on the national Take Your Kid to Work Day
a good christmas movie. but damn aimee is 44? i thought she was younger, she looks amazing. i was gonna complain they paired her with freddie but they are almost the same age
Not seen a Statham movie in a long time, enjoyed it and great one liners.
A comfortable movie, an unoriginal story, full of clichés, without depth and even futile, but it has its amusing moments and a lightness that drives the development, all in an unpretentious way, it also has good performances and a good chemistry between the characters.
I can't say that I enjoyed this series but that was a good season finale because it leaves you looking forward to where the storylines are going.
A war following the principles of the universe, the strongest eats the weakest, ends up becoming an ode to the family.
The first half of the movie was quite good, then it got really bad - ending in a.. "Oh god, there's not gonna come back and make a part 2 are they?"
I'll give it an over-generous 7/10.
The movie gets 3 points just because Nathalie Emmanuel is in it.
The writing is full of plot holes you could drive a truck through... speaking of driving a truck - why does Hollywood and the like think that just anyone can jump behind the wheel of a large truck and drive it?
Near the end when they've grabbed the truck and safe, what was their plan after parking the truck and grabbing the money? If the other guys hadn't shown up - there was no car to take them to the boat. And at the boat dock - where were all the other cops? He just happened upon them by himself?
Ok who would of though that I would ball so much in these last episodes, but sure as hell did. Great end to a fantastic show!
really a show with the 2 least interesting characters in all of marvel HAHAHA
That was dumb. What type of master thief, with all the tech, not digitize the tape & trust to go on a show with no back up plans. This is some lazy writing. This show just went down hill. Hope the writing isn’t this bad in next episode.
So why are reviewers already saying this movie sucks ? Not even out yet.
good show but unnecessarily dark even in daytime scenes, fix the lighting please.
Well, that was one major clusterfuck of a raid! They did get away with it, but everything ended up going pear-shaped and tits up, in the very end. One less character for season two? Luckily (for me), the one who got shot was my least favourite character of the whole gang. But there's no way his death (if he ends up, indeed, being dead) won't affect everyone else.
Anyway, that ending was very, very frustrating (after they've all managed to get out of the fucked up raid alive), but it provided for an itching cliffhanger.
This was the most gruesome episode of the season. Those redneck hillbillies sure put on a fight! We had blood everywhere, body chunks flying around and even a head melting like butter in the sun. There was something in there for everyone! Disturbing, yet pretty to watch.
One last shout-out, again, for this show's soundtrack. Not only does it evoke the '80s in perfection, they even managed to get some kick ass alternative tunes from back then (fitting the more underground tone of the show just nicely), instead of resorting to the usual top 40 hits like other shows do.
Not sure if there'll be a second season, but I'm rooting for it. This show seems to be flying under the radar (which sucks for renewals), but it's very good at what it's doing. Can't wait for more Deadly Class!
I've never watched a comedy where so many jokes just fell flat. The same conversations are repeated throughout the whole movie, without much changing.
The whole thing felt like a sitcom, maybe that's the Kenya Barris' touch. Those transitions were awful and distracting. A whole bunch of talent is wasted here.
So the guy is all about cautions and being hidden, uses burners etc., but at the same time does his search in freaking Google, from his home computer, not even with an anonymous session or vpn, nothing.
I get it, it's a Google product placement, but still kinda stupid.
Man, there's a better way to set this up than how they are doing it. Still not feeling this.
Disney is worthless anymore, everything is put out there to propagandize and they have done their level best to destroy the beloved story of Peter Pan! This movie is total garbage.
This is making me watch all the Lupins and read all the books. Aka, a work well done.
I love how he's playing Horizon Zero Dawn with his kid, too. Great choice. Although not sure which version had the option to play with others. Unless... unless this is exactly like "remember when you were a kid and your big brother let you hold a controller while you were playing"... maybe dad's just holding a controller
I agree with the video discrepancies though that others pointed out. Someone with his skills and level would have copied or digitalised the tape. I get that for authenticity he'd bring the original, but they manipulated it anyway. But... backup of a vital piece of evidence is crucial. If he doesn't have it, here's the first real disappointment in the show.
When all cinema has to offer these days are rehashes, sequels and prequels, it's nice when you find a product that's truly unique. Although based on a short story by A.S. Byatt, Three Thousand Years Waiting for You is new and original, and that alone makes it worth seeing.
But it is also an excellent film about betrayal, desires and waiting. But above all, it is a film about love. Idris Elba and Tilda Swinton give an impeccable performance (which one can easily imagine in a play), interspersed with visual effects that are delightful. Both keep you gripped and your heart in a fist, doubting whether it will end as you think it will, or whether this story, as the protagonist says, will be written by her in her own handwriting.
An Australian surprise from a director who has accustomed us to visual spectacles (Mad Max: Fury Road).
Damn, it took till now to show a gay scene. Really surprised it wasn't within first five minutes of episode 1.
I can't believe Charlize Theron would act in a sappy shitty movie like this........Cate Blanchett voice acting is the only thing good about this......
Ana de Armas was the best thing in this film. Brought some life into the movie. A good bond movie but far from Daniel Craig's best.
