So why are reviewers already saying this movie sucks ? Not even out yet.
I've never watched a comedy where so many jokes just fell flat. The same conversations are repeated throughout the whole movie, without much changing.
The whole thing felt like a sitcom, maybe that's the Kenya Barris' touch. Those transitions were awful and distracting. A whole bunch of talent is wasted here.
Disney is worthless anymore, everything is put out there to propagandize and they have done their level best to destroy the beloved story of Peter Pan! This movie is total garbage.
Wow. Save your time and dont watch this. There is no magic in this movie. Changed a lot of aspects of the storie for a check list and it shows. Nothing new or good here.
When all cinema has to offer these days are rehashes, sequels and prequels, it's nice when you find a product that's truly unique. Although based on a short story by A.S. Byatt, Three Thousand Years Waiting for You is new and original, and that alone makes it worth seeing.
But it is also an excellent film about betrayal, desires and waiting. But above all, it is a film about love. Idris Elba and Tilda Swinton give an impeccable performance (which one can easily imagine in a play), interspersed with visual effects that are delightful. Both keep you gripped and your heart in a fist, doubting whether it will end as you think it will, or whether this story, as the protagonist says, will be written by her in her own handwriting.
An Australian surprise from a director who has accustomed us to visual spectacles (Mad Max: Fury Road).
I can't believe Charlize Theron would act in a sappy shitty movie like this........Cate Blanchett voice acting is the only thing good about this......
Ana de Armas was the best thing in this film. Brought some life into the movie. A good bond movie but far from Daniel Craig's best.
Is it a bad movie? No, its alright.
The acting is really bad though and this is not THE Mulan... It's A Mulan!
Some people are fine with a new direction, but I'm not.
I want the original songs, I want Mushu, I want Mulan her old personality...
I was looking forward to MULAN, not this :/
It was garbage. Did not enjoy it.
This was cringe-tastic! And not even a little bit funny.
This is not a great movie - but it is good and enjoyable. Once again, since this is still 2020 and there has been a meager selection of decent new movies to watch - this was a breath of fresh air.
Although you do have to check your brain at the coat-check before watching this as there are a few (maybe several) unbelievable things that occur that simply are not survivable and yet somehow...
Sadly (and most annoyingly), we never actually find out what destroys the earth.
How I rate:
1-3  = seriously! don't waste your time
4-6  = you may or may not enjoy this
7-8  = I expect you will like this too
9-10  = movies and TV shows I really love!
I expected too much from this film, especially Eddie Murphy & he has a limited screen time, that first teaser trailer Netflix did was a good promotion for this movie that got me excited because I got to be hooked on seeing Eddie again as a big fan.
Number one reason, not just me and maybe a lot of people why they will watch this film is solely for Eddie being part of it, and I feel sorry for them because its going to be a disappointing experience.
a good christmas movie. but damn aimee is 44? i thought she was younger, she looks amazing. i was gonna complain they paired her with freddie but they are almost the same age
"You have all the time in the world."
I am glad that Daniel Craig is ending his run as James Bond with this movie instead of Spectre. There were many moments that tie the other movies with this one and the first half is filled with good action sequences, and the cinematography was beautiful. Rami did well with what he had, but will not be a memorable villain for me.
Almost everything I want to say about this movie, I can't say at the risk of sounding overly cliché. But all those things people say about how immersive this movie is... It's true. People saying how good the cinematography is... Uh, yeah, it's Roger Deakins. Of course it's going to look gorgeous.
There are three things I was most impressed by, though:
I pride myself in being able to figure out when a movie uses something to hide a cut in order to make a shot seem like it was done in one take. Starting out, I thought I'd make a game of pointing out all the hidden cuts I could find. I actually found very few of them, partially because they did an excellent job of hiding them, but mostly because I became so engaged with the movie that I stopped paying that any attention.
The blocking is masterfully done! The way we constantly see the camera move from in front of actors to behind them matches perfectly with what the scene requires, and paces each scene very well. It makes me wonder just how this was shot to make it flow so smoothly together.
It's difficult to think about just how much gets lost from cutting thousands of times in a movie until you see 1917. I'm not saying every movie should be made like this one, but I don't think this movie would have worked nearly as well if it had been edited normally. Every frame is brimming with detail, and it manages to always have the camera at the right angle looking at the right thing. The cinematography is perfect, essentially.
I so, so, so wish I saw this movie in theaters instead of brushing it aside as an artsy gimmick in a genre film with which I'm not well acquainted. It doesn't matter if you like war movies or not, if you like movies at all, you'll be sure to enjoy 1917.
Imagine if Inception cut out the opening scene, told us a little bit about the rules of the dream world before going on a Macguffin hunt for an hour, THEN we got to see them go into someone's dream for the first time halfway into the movie. That's Tenet.
The gimmick is cool, and it makes for some awesome action scenes, but they don't leave room for character development in between exposition scenes (which is about 70% of this film). I'd still say it's worth a watch for your own opinion, though.
Like a fun road trip, it's epic and long and moves along at such a good pace that you truly enjoy the ride.
The Three Musketeers: D'Artagnan won't set any records for originality but everything else -- the cast, the directing, the scale -- work to make this grandiose effort prime entertainment.
:heart:x7
Honestly, I did not expect a whole lot from this movie. Eddie Murphy hasn't been that watchable in quite some time (that could just be me though). However, this movie turned out to be pretty funny.
Madison Thomas (Holly), kind of stole most of the scenes she was in.
Overall, this is a worthwhile, entertaining Christmas movie.

Hmmn. Movie trying to bring back the 20's, 30, 40, 50, 60s 70s. Its corny, cringy, stereotyping and definitely not funny. If you have better things to do, DO NOT plan to watch. It is a DO NOT WATCH!
Like your roommate's dirty laundry, you've already seen this without having watched it.
Another Netflix comedy where you forget to laugh because nothing surprises you. The advantage is, you can see the whole movie just by looking at the poster.
The atmosphere is stunning, the fight scenes are breathtaking and the shots are beautifully composed. Electrifying music that runs through your body
Powerful movie about the war that was supposed to end all wars
Personally I don't like the story, a little bit childish to me. But the multiverse idea is great, and glad to see old Spider-Mans, just made me nostalgic.
There are tons of scenes that are entertaining as hell; all funny, heart warming and action packed
Unfortunately, the movie just does not flow well. The whole multi-verse thing makes everything so incredibly messy and muddled. People do things with extremely weak motivations just because the plot demands it. Sure there's a lot of great callbacks to the history of the series but it's really not executed with the finesse that it really deserves. The pacing is completely off in large portions and I cannot help but feel like the movie was created around a solid concept but all the ancillary construction was just cobbled together
It's fine. It tries harder and flies higher than most other Marvel things but unfortunately fell flat for me. But it's fine
It was long and boring imo. Could be the worst MCU movie.
Not seen a Statham movie in a long time, enjoyed it and great one liners.
It is a Jason movie.
Anne Hathaway is such a great actress. She's way underrated for her acting, she is always looked at for her good looks, but her acting is really highlighted in this movie, Get Smart, etc.
This was the first time I've seen any Robert De Niro movie, however, I'd always heard of him. I'm a huge fan. Absolutely great.
I'm a bit sad about the ending. I was hoping that Ben would end up being the CEO.
Most of the action scenes were boring, gadgets were neither innovative nor interesting.
New 007 went on my nerves from minute one with her "Does that make you angry?" Which I assume was meant for the audience and not Bond...
To top it all off: No Bond girls (Madeleine doesn't really count and I hope that no one counts the daughter...)
If she is going to lead the future movies, I can tell you right now: I'm not going to watch it.
Its not a bad movie, but other than the names being used, its not a Bond movie either.
Good thing though: Other than the passive aggressiveness of the new 007 the SJW-crowd seemingly didn't manage to take over the franchise (yet). So there is hope it will survive.
