As someone who doesn't read the manga or watch the anime, this first introduction to the series has convinced me to check more of the story out. I'm excited to dive deeper into One Piece, and I'm looking forward to any future seasons of the show!
Once again the most interesting part of this whole fucking show is the stuff that gets the least amount of time. I could not care less about the sitcom shtick and I wish they would stop ripping off other shows when it serves little purpose except to make this all ridiculous when it could've been so much better.
In the movie Far From Heaven, you get this practically picturesque town and home life of a housewife in Connecticut. It's gorgeous and full of colors and 50s/60s "retro", what have you. It looks so perfect and lovely yet hides all sorts of ugliness underneath the perfect veneer of "All American Dream". Imagine that kind of set up but with horror and mindfuckery and that could've been THIS FUCKING SHOW.
Each episode continues to disappoint.
Each episode shows me how this would have been better served in a binge-watch (if they ever fucking do anything with the reveal).
Each episode annoys me with a pointless, obnoxious laugh track.
And each episode has me not giving a single damn about this couple or buying into any of their "chemistry" or love. This relationship was developed completely offscreen, and now I'm just supposed to believe they are some shining example of True Love because Marvel clearly wants Young Avengers? Nope. Not happening. I demand better writing and pacing, thank you.
Olsen and Bettany are very talented and capable actors in other projects but here, I can't buy anything between them.
The pacing is just painful and not at all suspenseful. There's tension and then there's annoying the shit out of your audience. This show is the latter.
This show continues to be the epitome of "my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined".
That ending was CRAZY! But these episodes are SO short. Remaining 3 episodes better be one hour at least each.
This NEEDS to get better. Again its non stop cheese and no explanation to why this is set in the 50s and how Vision is alive. There should have been a much better intro episode
That was dumb. What type of master thief, with all the tech, not digitize the tape & trust to go on a show with no back up plans. This is some lazy writing. This show just went down hill. Hope the writing isn’t this bad in next episode.
The mystery into the seasons bad guy was decent. It was never clear who was going to be exposed and right when I thought I knew who, they had very good diversions but it was always the same 4 people since the beginning.
I’m kind of sad to see Weems gone. I love Gwendoline Christie but this is a supernatural show they can find a way for her to reappear I almost thought she was going to show up when Enid and Wednesday were in her office. Speaking of Enid she totally kicked ass and i love to see it.
I expect to see Ricci back as an escaped prisoner to find another way to take down Wednesday and the outcast.
And most interesting what is the deal with Bianca and her mother? Need an answer in S2 or as Netflix will probably do, part 2.
What I don't get is why Kirigan's mother waited until the very last second to tell Alina the truth about him... They spent weeks training together, I'm sure she had plenty of opportunities to come forward but instead she kept quiet until Alina was halfway to Boneville with the guy smh. I'm kind of disappointed because I find Alina and Mal as love interests really boring (I just don't vibe with childhood friends-to-lovers stories at all). Right now the Crows are the only thing keeping me watching.
good show but unnecessarily dark even in daytime scenes, fix the lighting please.
Only 3 episodes left ;_; I really wish these episodes were longer.
Well, that was one major clusterfuck of a raid! They did get away with it, but everything ended up going pear-shaped and tits up, in the very end. One less character for season two? Luckily (for me), the one who got shot was my least favourite character of the whole gang. But there's no way his death (if he ends up, indeed, being dead) won't affect everyone else.
Anyway, that ending was very, very frustrating (after they've all managed to get out of the fucked up raid alive), but it provided for an itching cliffhanger.
This was the most gruesome episode of the season. Those redneck hillbillies sure put on a fight! We had blood everywhere, body chunks flying around and even a head melting like butter in the sun. There was something in there for everyone! Disturbing, yet pretty to watch.
One last shout-out, again, for this show's soundtrack. Not only does it evoke the '80s in perfection, they even managed to get some kick ass alternative tunes from back then (fitting the more underground tone of the show just nicely), instead of resorting to the usual top 40 hits like other shows do.
Not sure if there'll be a second season, but I'm rooting for it. This show seems to be flying under the radar (which sucks for renewals), but it's very good at what it's doing. Can't wait for more Deadly Class!
Wow that was a surprise. It is very rare that I get surprised, you can usually see the outcome miles away. Still one little thing I don't understand, why was Shane lurking in and around Maya's house? He seemed certainly surprised that Maya had killed Joe so he wasn't already suspecting her. Was he just looking out for her then?
So the guy is all about cautions and being hidden, uses burners etc., but at the same time does his search in freaking Google, from his home computer, not even with an anonymous session or vpn, nothing.
I get it, it's a Google product placement, but still kinda stupid.
Just keeps getting better and better. Really loving the mother/daughter bonding on this one! Favourite new series!
Man, there's a better way to set this up than how they are doing it. Still not feeling this.
This is making me watch all the Lupins and read all the books. Aka, a work well done.
I love how he's playing Horizon Zero Dawn with his kid, too. Great choice. Although not sure which version had the option to play with others. Unless... unless this is exactly like "remember when you were a kid and your big brother let you hold a controller while you were playing"... maybe dad's just holding a controller
I agree with the video discrepancies though that others pointed out. Someone with his skills and level would have copied or digitalised the tape. I get that for authenticity he'd bring the original, but they manipulated it anyway. But... backup of a vital piece of evidence is crucial. If he doesn't have it, here's the first real disappointment in the show.
Damn, it took till now to show a gay scene. Really surprised it wasn't within first five minutes of episode 1.
sorry, not a fan so far, that was 5% action and 95% filler, i don't need to see Sam and Bucky's personal lives. the first episode should come out swinging and this did not do that. and what the hell was that at the end of the episode? looks like they grabbed some random guy off the street and stuck a Captain America costume on him, guy looks like a dweeb. not impressed, hope they do better and they only have 5 episodes left
This episode of Ahsoka was recorded on the national Take Your Kid to Work Day
Already infinitely better than Wandavision and with more emotional weight tied to the two leads. Super interested in seeing where they go with this.
Entertaining but almost annoying how hard Anthony Mackie is trying to do a Will Smith impersonation.
they made it obvious that hawkins was dirty which leads me to believe that they're trying to divert our attention away from someone else, possibly farr
Who is Megan Thee Stallion? Is she popular in the USA?
I cried so much during this season and the final episode was no different. I think I cried from the beginning to the end. They managed to wrap up the show answering every question, dotting the i's and crossing the t's. For me the ending was perfect. Literally nothing could've been done better. I bawled my eyes out when I saw Dan and Charlotte happily ever after in heaven. I was so sure the ending was going to be bittersweet with Lucifer leaving but I'm so glad they showed us the moments after Chloe died, that after everything they would still end up together. Honestly everything came together so nicely. It was just perfect. I'm glad we got this ending, that they got the chance to wrap it up for us fans. Perfection. Nobody can chance my mind about it.
Good episode, but the Agatha backstory was poorly made, it was like a bad take on Dragonball, we didn't need that. I still feel that the series is too slow to rush the finale. The main problem with this series is that it always go two steps forward and one back. The ending with the Scarlet Witch explanation is too dumb, really dumb, I laughed hard at that part. Another example is the SWORD director, a cartoon one dimensional villain that is very simple. Damn, even My Hero Academia have better villains. Stop doing dumb things Disney.
I enjoyed this show but I'm confused as hell. that scene after the credits just confused me more...
