I find it hard to believe I just watched the same movie so many others are raging about. Dialogue: nope - like its' written by 5th graders. Score: nope - more often than not, was so unattached from a scene, it was distracting. Cast: not as bad as the rest, but... Wagner didn't work for me at all, Cailee although she is even older in real life, she does not come close to looking like a 23yo, as such the early scenes with Joel hitting on her was cringe. And even though they mostly kept the story from being too political, I have to go back to the cast and say it seems heavily driven by the DEI police: I'm okay with no white guys as main characters, but c'mon, "most" every white guy character was either a redneck, moron or racist fuck-tard.
Lots of plot points to pick on, but I'll just mention a few: Did we ever really see why Sammy was such a great journalist? Lee is hard core, but breaks down at the finish line (assuming Sammy's death finally broke her, but that really doesn't fly) only to all of sudden to not just jump right back into being hard core, but transition from a photo-journalist to an investigative journalist and let everyone know the Prez is still in the WH. That's somewhat acceptable, except then she reverts back to a novice and saves Jessie by knocking her down and then just standing there, upright, ready to be shot? Each may not be massive on their own, but I experienced some "cumulative trauma" by having them keep coming. A much, much lesser issue, but speaks to the quality in general: the big automatic suburban plows back onto the road after Lee drove it into the woods, and as it drives away the sound geniuses input a 4cyl stick shift.

Lots of folks getting tired of crazy Beth, can't say I disagree. I'd like to present a different "beef" (yeah, I said it) in how she's written for entertainment value only: remember last season when John finally tells her he's disappointed in her and she uncharacteristically crumbles? Remember why? Because of her being cruel in how she treated, and basically sacrificed, Summer. Now we're supposed to believe Beth would just go right back to attaching her, right in front of John? Seems unlikely, even for unhinged Beth. Just sayin'...

One reasonable, relatable, tolerable character out of 20... that's a hard no. I think I almost chuckled once, but it was more our of desperation than content. Unfortunately, one and done for me.

I knew it would be frustrating going in, and it is. Like they still haven't addressed the knife that was found. I'm sure they will, but dragging it out is just formulaic false intrigue. Obviously good enough to keep watching, but could be better...
The "missions" have always been weak and not made much sense. But it was easy to overlook because their chemistry and falling for each other was fun and brought joy.
With the past few episodes just having them hating on each other, they've made it a bit cringe and made it void of any joy. The only reason I keep watching is I'm hoping they bring the joy back.

I see "stupid" in a lot of the comments, just not in enough of them. Too many issues to note, but how about "can I get a tissue?" WTF? And she dupes the same cop that figured out who all the hijackers were earlier, when all the national agencies didn't? I wonder if one of the writer's name is stupid, or that's just what people call 'em?

Some really good stuff, including top notch acting.....but.... Pam not knowing who Karen was, seems preposterous. She would have seen her on TV, newspapers, and whatever else. Small thing, but the quality of the rest of it makes it a bit more glaring. Hope they don't leave the cosmonaut's story untold, 'cause he had some 'splaining to do when he got back.
Just horrible writing. It's driving me crazy how nonchalant they are in the handling of these highly sought space rocks, not because of being valuable, but their potential of being harmful to us. It continues in their reaction to Halan being effected by them..."oh, look at that"...WTF? I'm only staying with it because I'm a Lena Headey fan and MGM+ has put out some good product (until this).
Finsh gets a 5, Goodyear a 7 (cause I'm a dog lover] and Jeff a 10. The Finch being a dick scenes really brought nothing to the story or character, other than you seeing he was basically a dick. Why? His death would have been much more impactful if they let you like him more. Just sayin '...
So, continued lazy writing: the most obvious for me being the WTF Eugene group escape... Next time these two guards have sex and take off their uniforms, when all the other guards are gone, and they've left our cage open, let's take their uniforms and walk out. And I'd just like to reiterate what others have already noticed "sleeping zombies". Actually, watching all those zombies sleeping thru this insanity made me a little jealous.

I'm not going to waste time elaborating, but I'm maybe 10 min in to this episode and I'm about to throw in the towel because of the flashbacks. They ruin the pacing, offer little bang for the buck in terms of useful information shared vs time spent and some of the artsy cinematography feels out of place.
Now I remember why I didn't really care when it started again... because it has gotten perpetually more preposterous every episode. And I'm way over Ruth, as unpopular as that may be. They keep killing off characters and I couldn't care less, and not sure who they could kill off that I would care about, Charlotte or Three maybe? Nope, wouldn't really give a shit. ⁹
Fargo wanna be, but misses the mark. Mr. Forster, Chloe & Niki count for 3 of my 5 stars.
