what a stupid show. Hollywood/Disney outdid themselves on showing their stupidity on this one . waste of file time and money.
Part 2 is only a shadow part 1. Disappointed.
I gave the first season an 8/10 for some reason... I must have enjoyed it.
Season 2 is deplorable - I thought I'd written it because I knew exactly what was happening before it actually happened!!
I watched the first 2 episodes and that was painful enough - no more!!
I can only surmise the writing/directing went off the rails between season 1 and 2, or I was drunk throughout season 1.

The so-called pro hacker joins an IRC chat on an MS DOS CMD prompt with his phone :rofl:. Quite lame. Didn't they get any consulting on the matter? They should have had a look at Mr. Robot. They're shell gibberish that came along quite often seemed plausible, at least to some extent.
want to like it but it's slow. real lack of development of story. long scenes of nothing happening.
I just watched the first episode. I didn't understnd anything about this. I don't know where thay are, what they are doing, why they are doing whatver they're doing. i was just lost. I know this is based on a book ( Ihaven't read and I won't read it). I expected to understand the show without being part of the book fandom.
Intriguing world and premise, but the terrible pacing and uneven quality destroys a promising show.
Characters are fairly one dimensional, especially their introductions are lacking. The plot moves at the speed of a bullet train launched into space, which especially hurts the world building and character development. It also causes the themes to be hardly explored, and side plots to feel trivial. CGI and cinematography are a mixed bag, ranging from nice to terrible (especially the color filter is often hideous), The acting is ok in general, but dialogue can be uneven.
About halfway into the 1st season, the show stabilizes somewhat, but it never recovers from the problematic opening, making any investment in the characters and world shallow at best.
It is a waste because the world seems highly interesting, and I have to assume it deserves much better than this uninspired work.
So every male character is weak, stupid or irresponsible and 90% of the black characters are gay? Oh yeah this is a great show. Fuck off with this shit!!!

What a waste of good actors (and of my time). Although a quite good idea the execution is simply boring.
Yeah....I have nothing against Chris Rock but I don't like to see him in this role. In fact I don't like to see him in any role.
The show has so much potential but it's wasted by poor story telling. This would've worked better as a 2hr movie or 6 episode show. Unfortunately, you'll have to sit through 10 hours of torture as the characters constantly talk about their feelings while boring you to death. You'll literally feel ever minute of the 10 hours tick by. And oh yea there's a random gay couple that makes no sense to the story but you know it's 2020 so you need the token in the show.
I would say if you have 10 hours to kill, nothing better to do, and want to listen to characters constantly talk about their feelings, this is the show for you. If you don't like all that stuff or don't want to waste 10 hours, I would skip this show.
I wish I had watched this show in 2x or 2.5x speed...I think I would've liked it better.
This show has probably one of the worst main characters I've ever seen. The supporting cast is not much better (except Starlight but even she was kind of soured). The most interesting character to me was Black Noir and he didn't say a word during the 1st season.
The pacing and lack of world building are atrocious to a series that is only in its 1st season. It hurts me to see that after 8 hours I gained nothing from watching this.
The ending is very unsatisfying.
Innovative/Different doesn't mean good.

Giuliani was great during the 70s/80s/90s. Did a lot of great things but now he is exactly what he said he would not be in this episode. A wise guy for the biggest mob boss in American history...Trump. What a fucking tool. Talking about the reasons why he went after the mob only to end up doing the exact things he said he was fighting against. What a hypocrite...
Listen to other reviewers. Waste of time movie. Terrible acting. Your typical Netflix crappy movie. If you have nothing to do & are bored, I would recommend painting a wall & watch it dry. You’ll get more enjoyment out of it.

Operated and so far fetched,as if shit like this would happen in London,do the makers not know how rare gun violence is on the streets of the UK,there's no gangs running about with as many automatic rifles and grenades as this show,maybe in Columbia and mexico,this is EastEnders trying to be narcos!
An utterly delightful and absurd romp through "an occasionally true" story of Catherine The Great's rise to power. A powerhouse cast, great visual design and acerbic comedic writing all pull together for an entertaining ride that's short enough to not be tiresome.
This is seriously the best thing I've watched in a long time. Sometimes gruesome. Always amazing. It kind of reminded me of "The Princess Bride" meets "The Royals". I binged it and want a LOT more.
I wish Netflix would stop fucking around an order a 12 episode season.

my old mom wanted to watch this i told her don't bother if i can barely understand whats going on with the time jumps you wont have a clue whats happening so there we go. If you like putting the pieces together and jigsaws you'll love this.
